Great - Was presented several places three times as expensive at hotel took this tour just to get a glimpse with small expectations boy did Enrique blow our expectations out of the water and after talking to people at the hotel talking other tours we hit the jack pot. Saw four different species of monkeys two of which came on the boat and we hand fed and several other wild life animals and birds we had only seen on tv. What an amazing tour from getting the history of Panama City, the canal, the boat ride, and the jungle. Not to mention some great snacks and stops! If you are worried that this is to cheap compared to the others to be true this will blow your expectations!

This is the Tour You Want to Take - I highly recommend this tour for those who want an introduction to the wildlife of Panama. The length of the tour (5 hours from door to door) is perfect for families with children or people who lack the stamina to trudge through the jungle for hours on end. The boat ride on the lake, which is part of the canal, was beautiful and was an opportunity to get up close to huge container ships transiting the canal. During the boat ride we stopped to see monkeys on several islands. We saw three different species of monkeys, including a pair of five-day-old babies riding on their mother's back. The monkeys came aboard the steel-hulled launch to get fruit. There were plenty of chances to get great photos. After the boat ride we stopped at a typical Panamanian restaurant to get some great empanadas. We then headed to a national park for a walk through the jungle. The jungle walk was on flat terrain on a gravel road. Even though we did not hack our way through the jungle using machetes, we saw a lot. There was a huge amount of biodiversity. We saw a sloth, tucan, tiny bats sleeping on the side of tree, blue Morpho butterflies, a variety of birds, leaf-cutter ants, and an agouti, termite and ant nests, and hundreds of different plant species. Our guide, Enrique was very knowledgeable and energetic. He was concerned for everyone's safety. He provided information about the city and the canal as well as the wildlife. His English is outstanding. He is a native speaker of Spanish and also speaks French. We were picked up on time, in a new, clean van. We were provided with water, army-style ponchos, empanadas, bananas and fresh pineapple. Enrique has been in tourism for over twenty years but his company is new. He does not have as many ratings as some other tours because of this. Don't let this keep you from booking with him. I have traveled in 35 counties and 49 of the 50 states in the US. I have been on many tours. Trust me when I tell you that Enrique's is great.

His knowledge was inspiring and the access he gave us was great. We saw monkeys, crocodiles, and a sloth. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! - Probably the best day of our trip. Our guide Enrique gave a lot of information and what's more he spoke perfect French (English and Spanish too)! We had the chance to see a lot of animals and even baby monkeys and crocodiles since we went during the breeding season in spring. The boat ride was really fun and the jungle walk too. It was better than I expected, I highly recommend!
