Great Guide! - Mike (guide) and Yoel (driver) were great. Mike gave us tons of interesting facts with pictures and graphics as we went along. His English was excellent. We got to see monkeys up close (on our boat) at one point and other wild life. We stopped for lunch which was at a local place. The food was decent... my kids liked the chicken and I liked the lentils. The walk through the jungle was ok as nature didn't cooperate with us, but that's not something anyone can control. Would definitely recommend. My teen aged boys really enjoyed this tour - said it was their "highlight" of the trip.

Monkeys and so much more!!! - This tour was absolutely perfection! Yes, it was an early start….for a couple great reasons. Less traffic, more possibilities of seeing animals that are awake, alert and moving, and it is a much cooler part of the day. Paola, was the absolute best guide! She kept us informed throughout the entire itinerary. She provided interesting and relevant facts all along the way. From Panamanian history and canal statistics, to biology and biodiversity of the region… she shared it all with us. We had a nice ride to meet up with our boat. We then took a fantastic boat ride to the monkey islands. Eagle eye Paola, spotted alligator, iguanas, birds, monkeys and butterflies and made sure that we all maintained safe animal interactions. (safe for us and safe for the animals) 🥰 After the boat ride, we returned to the van and made our way to brunch. This was a delicious Panamanian spread and we were fueled up and ready for our walk through the rainforest. A short van ride later we were dropped off at the start of our hike. (It was not strenuous, a little muddy in spots, and a tad humid 🥰) We had the absolute best time on this hike. Paola again pointed out things we may have overlooked without her. She made sure to drawn our attention to the insects, the fungi, and various other features of the rainforest. We were very fortunate, and saw numerous animals on this hike…and Paola always made sure that we had gotten whatever pictures we wanted before we moved on. At the end of the hike we met back up with our van and our amazing driver, and made the trek back to Panama City - with a quick stop at a local fruit market. 😋 Again, it was a fabulous excursion and we would recommend Paola and her team to anyone!

Blast in the jungle - This was such an amazing experience! Our tour guide Michael, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Though you have to wake up early, it makes the temperature easier to deal with. The activity was not at all strenuous, but you get the full experience of being in jungle.

Wet but fun - It was fun learning about and being in the Panama Canal itself. Especially up close to the immense tankers that go through. The only downside was it was pouring rain the day we were there and we did get pretty wet despite the ponchos. Still it was interesting to see the wildlife. Michael did an amazing job explaining things about the canal and what to see there. I learned quite a few things about manatees that I didn't know. We got to see a sloth on our walk through the jungle, which was pretty special as well. My only recommendation is please bring lots of bugs spray. The mosquitoes out here are no joke.
