Wonderful layover tour! - The best part of this tour is the flexibility of the sightseeing and time scheduling. We just wanted a relaxed tour with very few sites to visit, as we have been to Panama City before. So much more enjoyable than having to spend a day at the airport!

Experience Panama - Edwin, our driver, picked us up from the airport, and was a great tour guide. He easily maneuvered traffic while telling us all about the history. He showed us around town taking us to numerous great places, gave us recommendations for night life (that were fantastic) and dropped us off at our hotel at the end. He did not rush us but felt like it was just perfect. Would totally do this again and have recommended it to friends!

Amazing! - It was a great way to see Panama when you only have a few hours. The tour guide was very friendly as knowledgeable. He ensured we fit all of the important sites in and that we were well fed before we had to return to the airport.

Our guide, Edwing, was... - Our guide, Edwing, was very knowledgeable about the history & culture of Panama. He arranged the tour with a lot of flexibility so we could see both the old town and the ships passing Miraflores Locks with optimal timing. At the Miraflores Locks, we saw a few tourists taking guided tour inside the fenced area of the locks (vs. us and everyone else observing the ships from a distance behind the fences). So you may want to look for alternative (presumably much more expensive) tours if you really want a close-up look. Otherwise, highly recommend Edwing as a Panama guide!

I highly recommend the tour if you have a layover in Panama - Our tour was great! I believe we covered the most famous sights and recieved a lot of information. Our guide Rafael was very friendly and helpful. We followed the guide's suggestion, but he made it very clear that it was a flexible itinerary and we could ask for what we wanted. I highly recommend the tour if you have a layover in Panama.

Private tour for 3 adults from Riu Playa Blanca to Panama City (Old Town), Panama Canal and Monkey Island with Rafael as our gui - My family of 3 adults did this tour from Riu Playa Blanca. Rafael picked us up early and on time. 1st we went to Panama City. He gave us so much history of Panama. We walked around the old town area, went inside one of the oldest church, we then went to the waterfront. We saw a sloth in the tree. Saw vessels on their way to the Canal. We also drove around where we could see the Canal as he explained the process of how ships pass through the Canal and challenges the Canal is experiencing with the drought. We talked about sustainability measures that are in place and those that Panama is hoping to establish. The true highlight of the trip was the boat ride to Monkey Island. We stopped at a local store and bought bananas. We looked for lemons bought it was out of stock. We learned that the guide cut the lemons and the animals rub them on there body to get rid of insects. The white face monkey were slow to come to the boat. We could hear howler monkeys nearby. Finally The monkeys came to eat the bananas. We went to another areas where there were taraminds. They were the most interactive animals. They ate the fruit from my hands and made sounds if they wanted more. A couple of larger white face monkeys also came looking for food. We saw bats resting on a tree and one iguana in another area. It was beautiful way to spend the day. Rafael could not have better. He took time with us, so patient and full of knowledge to share. Thanks for the memory.
