The enchanting beauty of the place will fill you with mana (energy in Tahitian). Your guide will also share a famous Tahitian legend about two lovers who hid behind the waterfall and, according to legend, still reside within the rock.

This historical site marks the initial encounter between Maohi culture and Western civilization.

Tomb of King Pomare V - Visit the mausoleum of Tahiti’s King Pomare V, built from coral stone and resembling a small lighthouse with a red door and a red Greek-style urn on top. Originally constructed for Queen Pomare IV, her remains were later moved by her son. A few years after, Pomare V died of alcoholism, and his remains were interred in the mausoleum. The site faces the sea, offering a beautiful view of the Tahitian coast.
