Tomb of King Pomare V - Visit the mausoleum of Tahiti’s King Pomare V, built from coral stone and resembling a small lighthouse with a red door and a red Greek-style urn on top. Originally constructed for Queen Pomare IV, her remains were later moved by her son. A few years after, Pomare V died of alcoholism, and his remains were interred in the mausoleum. The site faces the sea, offering a beautiful view of the Tahitian coast.
