Great fun day out - Fun day out by local Cypriot guide , with his great sense of humour . Really enjoyed the countryside off road driving and being off the beaten track . The gorge is spectacular, lovely walk , and the waterfall looks just like the photos, very beautiful. Wonderful lunch at taverna too.

Amazing day trip - We had been picked up from our hotel and greeted by our lovely guide Daria, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. She shared many details about Paphos. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go to Blue Lagoon as to my understanding it’s very difficult to get there by car. However, we had time instead to visit a very small local village and we could try some local delicacies. We also bonded with different members of the trip and if they ever read this review - greetings to Beata & Przemek! We had taken many photos, the weather was beautiful, the entire trip was absolutely perfect. If you’re in Paphos you must book it!

Fabulous day out visiting some special off road places. - We went on this trip “eyes wide open” having read the reviews about the bumpy ride. We felt absolutely safe knowing that the drivers do this every day. Daria was great switching knowledgably between chatting in Greek, Polish and English. We learned lots about what grows in Cyprus as well as some history. The Akamas national park walk was fun, a little rocky so good shoes required. We then had a bouncy off road drive for incredible views. Disappointingly Blue Lagoon was off limits (same as the boat trip the day before). Alternative swimming at the Baths of Aphrodite restaurant was too rocky (might have managed a dip if we had swimming shoes). It is a beautiful high class fish restaurant in a lovely spot but on the pricey side ( I think you can get snacks at a kiosk and just enjoy the view instead). Finally another drive through the mountains to the Adonis Waterfalls, our main reason for choosing the trip. This was fabulous, very cool water but beautiful place for a very special swim. (And some fun artefacts!) Giving 4 stars so people can book this trip knowing exactly what to expect. But overall a fantastic, great value, small group (6) day out to places you wouldn’t get to otherwise.

A fair review on the Full Day Tour in Akamas - We did the Full Day trip in Akamas. On the plus I would say this trip takes you to places that are not easily accessible by an average car due to the road condition. You learn stuff about the places and their history and I love the fact they they try to support the local villages that otherwise wouldn't see many visitors. Some of the scenery was great, like the sea caves and Edro III wreck, the blue lagoon, the turtle beach & Akamas Gorge. However I would say it is a tiring trip which is normal because they try to fit in so many places that are far apart. However you get the feeling that you cannot actually get to enjoy all those places. About the route: I would enjoy more a swimming stop at the caves, or the turtle beach or Lara beach, instead of the one under Aphrodite's baths. There's no comparison. Also I found the Adonis baths a bit of a weird place with the tacky sculptures and the wird owner, however it's a nice place to get a cofee. I would strongly suggest that they put the 2 bath's and mountain villages & the Gorge earlier in the route and at the afternoon return to Turtle or Lara beach for a sunset hour swim. On the negative side: Reckless and unsafe driving. There's no excuse for that. It was unacceptable. Also, at the beggining of the trip a couple specifically asked the driver -and paid a hefty tip- to drive slowly because of recent surgery and the driver took the tip and totally disrgarded their request. It wasn't because of the off-road driving, the driver specifically chose to drive super fast and unsafe during the entire trip and was laughing about it. Also, I would say that putting 10 people in these cars it too much. The people sitting at the back don't have any room at all and feel packed. This trip is worth it if you stay at Paphos and have many days at your disposal. If you're just visiting for a day -like we did- I would say it's not worth it. You can visit Paphos city and the beautiful beaches nearby that are more than enough.

NO AKAMAS OR BLUE LAGOON - My trip to Akamas & Blue Laggon did not include Akamas or Blue Lagoon. I booked on the Monday for the Wednesday and the operator was and is still advertising this trip which they are fully aware cannot happen as the road to Akamas is closed and the only access to the Blue Laggon is by boat. They do not tell you this until halfway into the trip. I asked the operator to book me on the boat trip as I had paid them for transport & entry to the Blue Lagoon. They refused and said thr boats weren't running due the bad westher. I checked with other operators who were running and asked for a part refund to pay for the boat trip. They refused. It's a shame as the guide was great and the rest of the trip enjoyable but the main highlights advertised which is why I booked and paid for didnt happen and they charged full.price and did not give me an informed option. This was not an accident as the other 7 people in my jeep were also misold.

Avoid. - Avoid Evis Jeep Safaris. Our guide/driver drove irresponsibly including overtaking on blind corners, and speeding. The Jeep itself is old and unsafe eg. No seatbelts on bench seats. The boat trip was ok however it was oversubscribed with people and there was not enough seats. The guide was boring and didn’t share much information and when he did it was very bland. The driver also played music at a high volume which was unpleasant and not what we payed for. The driver was very rude and forced everybody to move their seats every time we stopped. When we were told to move, his excuse was that we all paid the same which I understand but not necessarily everybody including myself wanted to move. Stops were short and didn’t give me enough time to explore the area, and the guide rushed us back. Overall I would not recommend this to anyone.
