The monastery is ornately decorated with wonderful mosaics in bright colours. It is also renowned for its wealth, with many gold icons and beautifully preserved frescoes.

The excursion into the Troodos Mountains is truly breathtaking. You’ll journey through quaint hamlets and catch a peek of traditional life in Cyprus. You will be transported to a local village for a coffee recess. Then, you ascend into the pine-infused Troodos Mountains, home to the remarkable Kykkos Monastery. The monastery boasts elaborate decorations with vibrant mosaics. It is also well-known for its opulence, laden with golden icons and exquisitely maintained frescoes. Following that, there will be a stop at a picnic location where you can enjoy a picnic lunch next to a calm stream. The final stop is Omodos Village, where you’ll take a guided tour through the village and pay a visit to the Monastery of Holy Cross.
