DO NOT BOOK THIS - EVERYTHING IS A LIE! - Do not book this! Everything about this posting is false: 1. This was not a private experience. The driver was late and picked us up with the couple booked 30 min after us. Then, the boat transfer to the boat from which you actually parasail is shared by so many people that the ride gets brutally choppy. 2. We did not have a "guide" we had to beg our driver, who did not speak much English, to stay because we were afraid he would not be available to return us to our resort if he left. 3. The driver told us transportation to the parasailing location was 25 min away, but it was actually over 45 min away. 4. The driver texted us the night before our excursion letting us know we owed $30 cash for transportation to the parasailing location and an additional $30 cash for transportation to return us to the resort. I had already paid for this excursion on Viator and it was presented to me as the cost of transportation being included. We paid the $30 to be taken to the parasailing location even though the driver was late, but we refused to pay at the end and did not tip the driver either - we figured he already sneakily got the first $30 from us. 5. Once we finally did get to the parasailing location, there was no boat/tour operator ready for us. One man named Antonio kept acting like we had time to kill and was pressuring us to shop in his store. Eventually, he pointed at a white party boat with a slide anchored out in the ocean and indicated that was our boat and that a tender would be coming to get us soon. That was never our boat. We stood outside Antonio's store, ignoring his requests for us to shop, explaining to him that we were already very late for our parasailing time for over 1 hour. Finally, we communicated to Antonio and his colleagues that we had to be back at our resort by 1pm (originally scheduled parasailing time was 10am and we did not get picked up by the tender until after 12:20pm) and so if we were not picked up by the tender in the next 5 min we would leave. Magically, the tender pulled up to the beach and we boarded. But instead of taking us out to the parasailing boat, it stopped at other areas along the beach picking up even more people. 6. They did not have enough life jackets for everyone they were shuttling back and forth. Many of us had to hand our life jackets off to someone who was on the parasailing boat and ride back to the beach without a life jacket. Overall, being up in the air was neat and fun, but not worth the waste of time/logistical nightmare. Felt like a huge portion of our limited vacation was wasted on these fools and scammers. Viator, please ban them from listing on your sight.
