Epernay - 12:00 - 13:30 Lunch break in Épernay. You can explore on your own or we can arrange a restaurant reservation for you. Épernay, known as the Champagne Capital of France, is nestled along the Marne and surrounded by wine hills. It is home to many of the region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must-visit for wine and champagne enthusiasts. Strolling along the Avenue of Champagne is a popular tourist activity.
13:30 Departure to Hautvillers village, a 10-minute drive (6 km). -
Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers - 13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Church of Saint-Sindulphe at the Abbey Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers, a former Benedictine monastery founded in 665 and active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region here. Today, there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the viewpoint for the best panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
14:10 Departure to Reims, a 30-minute drive (28 km). - Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin - 14:45 - 16:15 Visit the Veuve Clicquot Champagne house, established in 1772 and now producing over 22 million bottles annually. A guided tour through the cellars by Veuve Clicquot staff offers great insight into the history and Champagne production methods. The experience is completed with a tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne.

Driver was great and the... - Driver was great and the two tours were informative and fantastic! Niems cathedral is an amazing stop and several great lunch places. Well worth the trip!

A day in Champagne - Amazing full day trip from Paris to Champagne’s beautiful region . Our driver Uvi was friendly and polite. Everything was great. Picked up on time at 7:30 AM from our hotel in Paris. We stopped briefly for coffee as we traveled to Moet. We arrived on time a little after 9 AM and spent two hours in the beautiful Moet and Chandon winery, Just an amazing experience. Going down to the huge cellar was an incredible thing to see .
We then had lunch in Pommery winery at Le Réfectoire which was amazingly nice . Delicious food and of course the Pommery champagne 🍾 was perfect .
We then stopped at Abbey Saint Pierre d'Hautvillers , which is the final resting place of Dom Perignon. Incredible indeed .
We then visited the Veuve Clicquot winery . Going down to the cellars in both Moët and Veuve were the highlights.
Lastly we visited the famous Reims Cathedral. Breathtakingly beautiful & stunning.
Then back for the 90 mile drive to our hotel in Paris by 730 PM. Highly recommend this incredible day trip from Paris . The highlight of our 2 weeks in France .

Wonderful Day Trip - We were a last minute booking for this Champagne day trip from Paris and due to the short time frame one of the locations wasn't available, the tour operator did a great job of proactively reaching on this and helped find a good alternative Champagne house. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our driver was punctual in getting us to all our stops, but we never felt rushed and enjoyed every minute of the day trip. The tours were all operated by the Champagne house and were stellar.

Bubbles, anyone? Yes, please! - This tour is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Roman was our driver for the day. He is kind, professional and a skilled driver. The tasting at Moët & Chandon was our favorite. The experience was informative, first-class and tasty. The tasting at Veuve Cliquot felt a little more like a herding process, but I enjoyed learning about how Madame Cliquot built an empire in a time when women didn’t have much latitude. In all, my husband and I loved the tour and would recommend it to anyone interested in escaping the city and taking in a little French countryside. Épernay ia a dream!

Great day - This was a very nice experience and made for a great day. We were picked up promptly in the morning and stopped to see a gorgeous church before heading to the first champagne house. We had a great tour and tasting all set up for us and then we went to lunch where a reservation had already been made for us at a lovely restaurant. After that we went to our last champagne house for another tour and tasting before heading back to the city. Our driver was great and made the day totally stress free! Great trip.

Great tours, make sure the driver speaks your language for a better time - Both tours were fantastic! Highly recommend visiting either or both wineries.
However . . . we paid extra for this tour to get the two wineries as well as an English speaking driver. Unfortunately, he did not speak English or really try. So, it was not what we were expecting for a 1 1/2 hour drive each way.
So, the tours were a 5 but the drive to and from the region was a bust.

DON’T BOOK WITH THEM! Cancelled on us last minute! - DO NOT book with this company! I was at the airport headed for Paris for this tour and they cancelled 2 days before saying that Veuve was not available on my date. I checked the Veuve website and it looks like they’re closed on Mondays. I don’t understand why they couldn’t tell me this MONTHS ago when I booked this. The “Sorry about that” was a pathetic apology.
