Located along the Marne river and surrounded by wine hills, it is home to many of the region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must-visit for champagne lovers. Walking the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.
  14:00 Departure to the Pressoria Museum in Ay village, taking just 10 minutes (4 km).
• Pressoria - Voyage sensoriel au coeur du champagne - 14:15 - 15:15 Visit to the Pressoria Museum in Ay village, explaining the history of the Champagne region and Champagne production, including the tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne.
  15:15 Departure to Hautvillers, a small historical village on the top of the hills, taking about 10 minutes (6 km).
• Hautvillers - 15:30 - 16:00 Visit to the Abbey’s Church of Sindulphe d’Hautvillers. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region. Today, there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. A short stop at the viewpoint offers the best panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
  16:00 Departure to Paris, taking 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic (135 km).
