Epernay - 12:30 - 14:00 Lunch break in Épernay. We can reserve a good local restaurant for you or you can spend the time on your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river and surrounded by wine hills, it is home to many of the region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must-visit for champagne lovers. Walking the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.

15:15 Departure to Hautvillers, a small historical village on the top of the hills, taking about 10 minutes (6 km). -
Hautvillers - 15:30 - 16:00 Visit to the Abbey’s Church of Sindulphe d’Hautvillers. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region. Today, there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. A short stop at the viewpoint offers the best panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
