Taste of the Stars! - If you love champagne and/or have any interest in wine, winemaking, or farming, you MUST book this trip. The driver picked us up at our hotel (there were only 4 of us) in a comfortable Mercedes van at 7:30am and we were in Epernay in a couple hours after a quick stop for coffee and a croissant at our request/expense. Our driver, Ivan, was very accommodating. The drive was easy and it was a breath of fresh air —literally— to get out of the city. We enjoyed picturesque rolling hills covered with grape vines and one quaint village after another, each exuding its unique old world charm. We stopped to pay homage to Dom Perignon (ancient church with his burial site inside) who is regarded for his significant contributions to improving the quality of champagne in the region. We then took a short drive on to Moet et Chandon. From the moment we drove through the 10-ft rod iron gates, we felt like VIP’s and we were treated as such at every step…from the welcome we received, the chic decor in every room (don’t miss the incredible chandelier crafted totally of champagne glasses!), our knowledgeable and professional tour guide, to the tasting team (two amazing glasses of champagne—one vintage and one non vintage) and assistance in the retail store. We had a delicious lunch (reservation made for us by tour operator and lunch was at our expense but worth every penny). Then on to Pressoria. This was better than expected. It’s self-paced. highly educational and interactive. It included two tastings of very good champagne at the end. Every moment of our trip was delightful. This experience is a 10/10. Go quickly if you want to taste the stars. This tour will make you feel like one too!

A Day for Champagne Lovers - Travelled with a group of six and had an incredible time! Olga was a fantastic guide and, despite how it had just recently snowed, got us everywhere in a timely manner. Highly recommend!
