The guided tour will be brief but essential for understanding Champagne’s history. We’ll drive through the picturesque village and visit a picnic area for photos, a picnic, or some champagne.
- Cumières - Experience an intimate tour with a small producer. Often the highlight of the day, you’ll learn, see, and taste a lot. You can buy champagne to take home or enjoy with lunch.
- Avenue de Champagne - Drive along the world’s richest avenue. You’ll have lunch options and some free time here. I’ll point out the best spots on our way to Reims.
- Champagne Mercier - In the afternoon, depending on availability, visit a mid to large producer like Mercier, Boizel, Moet & Chandon (often fully booked), Charles Mignon, or Nicolas Feuillatte in Chouilly. If none are available, there are many smaller producers with excellent champagnes to taste.
- Paris - Return to Paris. Traffic is usually smooth until EuroDisney, after which it can get dense. You can be dropped off at Notre Dame Cathedral or the pick-up point via Rive Droite from Pont d’Austerlitz.
