A great tour - Both were great places to visit. Our guide was a great guide. He told us a great deal about the history of the two places we visited. This tour was nice way to get away from the city and the crowds of Paris. I would highly recommend this tour. The chateau and the castle were spectacular.

Fontainebleau and Vaux de Viscomtr - Our guide had great depth of knowledge regarding Fontainebleau and Vaux Viscomte. At VV he encouraged us to walk out into the formal garden of Le Notre to experience the perspective employed in the layout as well as the hidden side gardens. Another great Victor!

Augustine was worth the price of the tickets! - Great trip! Our tour guide Augustine was very knowledgeable and took us to the best restaurant for lunch- just outside the touristy areas. Loved seeing the two homes and the audio guides were fantastic!

Together just as good and perhaps better than Versailles - Augustine was a fantastic tour guide who took care of us from beginning to end! Going to the Fontainebleau and Vaux-Le-Vicomte is well worth it. There are less tourists in theses places and we are surprised why there are not more as they are both beautiful. Augustine even brought us to a nice lunch place in Blandy outside a medieval castle that we walked around as an extra treat in our trip.

Not inexpensive but so nice to do a small group tour( we were 6 in total) , with everything organized and looked after - Santiago was an obliging guide with good people skills and the day was scheduled with appropriate time throughout the day. I was unfortunately ill with an extreme cough, and most of the group & the guide were patient with this. They were also understanding I with a senior’ struggles with lots of cobblestone paths enroute to both stops….quite hard on ancient knees and back. The day was cold, but we did not have to spend much time outside.
Santiago arrived promptly on time and we arrived back at the scheduled hour.
I would suggest that your notes mention there are a lot of cobblestones and rough paths as a caution for those with some limited mobility.
It was a good day, with a further appreciation of France’s history .

We highly recommend this trip. - Our tour guide, Santiago, was great. Highly informed, patient for those who needed a little bit more time, great sense of humor, answers to our questions. Plus, he was a good guy. Once again, our experience with VIATOR was a solid five stars.

Well Organized Way to Visit Two Chateaus Outside Paris - Very enjoyable daytrip with knowledgeable driver/guide, Santiago. Having visited many sites in Paris before, we wanted to get out of the city and visit places interesting but less crowded. These 2 chateaus were a great choice and both had lovely grounds and gardens as well. Our driver provided commentary along the way, pointed out places for us to get lunch in the town, made an extra photo stop at an old castle, and kept everything on schedule. We traveled in a comfortable van with three other tourists and the pickup/drop off point happened to be within a couple of blocks walk from our hotel, which was a huge bonus.

Excellent sites need more history - Amazing sites, very courteous driver/ guide, I would have preferred that the guide actually come in to the sites to explain rather than rely on the audio guide
