- The Clos Normand - Fondation Claude Monet - There are two distinct gardens on Claude Monet’s property. The lovely Clos Normand has hundreds of types of flowers in bloom throughout the spring, summer, and fall. You’ll for sure recognize the bold purple Iris’ lined pathways and the spicy, orange and yellow Capucines that climb on the arches just in front of his pink house with green shutters.
- Fondation Claude Monet - Waterlillies!!! The Japanese garden on Claude Monet’s estate is the most famous as it has a green bridge and a waterlily-filled pond. Your guide will lead you directly to it and help you get the best souvenir photos! You’ll see the precise spots where Monet painted from and compare the paintings with what you see in real life.
- Fondation Claude Monet - Monet’s Colorful Home: Claude Monet lived here for more than 40 years and raised 8 children. Inside you will see his artist workshop as well as the personal decor and colorful paint that he put in every room. Groups are not allowed into the home as space is very limited inside. So, you will be given free time to explore inside on your own.
- Eglise Sainte-Radegonde de Giverny - Graveside visit: Visit the final resting place of Claude Monet and pay your respects to the great man himself. His tomb is hidden away in a little countryside church’s graveyard. Your guide will take you to it and share many of Monet’s life stories that went beyond his art but still affected it.

A wonderful day!! - We had such a good time on this trip! Clementine was friendly and engaging, telling us about the area as we were driving, chatting about the town of Giverny, and then telling us about the house and gardens. The gardens are just unbelievable - really, just so beautiful. We went in the autumn and can't wait to go back in the spring, too. The house is also lovely. Monet is my favorite artist, so this was a dream trip for me, and this was a wonderful way to do it. Highly recommend!!

Excellent small group tour to Giverny - Excellent small group tour to Monet's house and gardens in Giverny. Our guide was very nice and very informative. We heard about Monet's life in Giverny, Monet's family and other interesting historical information. It was nice to have plenty of free time in the gardens and house visit.
Highly recommended

Giverny Tour was Magical! - Giverny was beautiful. From the pick up to the drop off, the small group tour was the way to go. On our way from Paris to Giverny, we watched a movie and listened to an overview from the driver. The actual tour did not have a tour guide. After we entered Giverny we we set out to see the beautiful of the gardens and house. My husband and I enjoyed being on our own. The movie identified the lay of the land once we got there, we easily found our way around.
It was a lovely, beautiful and magical experience. The driver on the way home was a bonus. Incredibly knowledgeable and a great story teller.

If you love Monet, go to Giverny! - This was my third visit to Giverny. Each time, I learn more and appreciate the fact that not only was Monet a great Impressionist painter, but he was a soil scientist and landscaper. He built this garden- both the landscaping and the soil. Then, he shared it with the world in his paintings. If you are a Monet fan, visit Giverny.
We were picked up in front of a cafe near the Arc de Triumph. Do not be alarmed by all the other people who show up. This is apparently the pick-up point for several tours to Normandy, Giverny and various other places. The cafe was not open.
Someone from the tour company showed up and started separating the various groups and boarding us on vans for our trip. The van was comfortable and the trip is quite lovely. However, if you want to hear what the guide has to say, sit in the second seat. In the back, one cannot hear.
When you arrive at Giverny, unless you got a guided tour, you are on your own to explore the gardens and the great souvenir shop and the small village. Monet's flowers are three times bigger than any similar flowers. The plants are eight feet high and the blooms are as big as your hand. The gardens are just amazing.
You are able to tour the house, as well. Look carefully for the directional signs or you will be going the wrong way and miss parts of the house.
Save adequate time spend in the gift store. There so many beautiful gifts and books. If you have people to buy souvenirs for, buy some of the seeds for the flowers you just saw. And, they do grow to be as huge as the ones in Giverny.
If time allows, walk down the main street behind the gift shop towards the town and you will find an eclectic cafe on your left to enjoy a cup of cocoa.
This is an most enjoyable and zen day!

Lovely outings - Comfortable trip to Giverny. Plenty of time to walk in the gardens and see the house. Pick up spot was in a good location. Nice outing. Since we had a bit of down time, as we were finished looking with an hour left to go before leaving, I rated it a 4, not a 5.
