Highlight of out trip to Paris - The Paris Left Bank Food & Wine Tour was the highlight of my family's trip to Paris. Our guide, Rachel, was knowledgeable, personable, and made our experience memorable. The tour was scheduled for 3 hours, but with the amount of explorations, discussions, learning, food sampling, and generally having a wonderful time, ours lasted for 4 hours - we are very grateful to Rachel for accommodating us and all our questions. The places she took us to were unique - either one of the best in their class and/or special in what they offered or their history - we would not have been able to reproduce this tour on our own. Among the places we visited were a boulangerie, fromagerie, chocolaterie, a caviar vendor, a Basque themed bistronomy establishment. The tour was capped by visiting an exquisite macron shop. Rachel also showed us a lot of memorable locations around Boulevard Sint-Germain during the tour allowing us to soak up a lot of left bank history. We are so glad we did this tour, and very appreciative to Rachel for making it such a memorable experience.

A must do when visiting Paris! - It gives you a different perspective of Paris, the history, the architecture, the food, little secrets you may not have known. Marie and Felix were our guides, we felt like we were visiting friends in Paris. They were both full of positive energy and so knowledgeable and brilliant. You can feel their passion in their work. We appreciated these two wonderful people. Go do this tour.

Fun and worthwhile - My fella and I very much enjoyed the blend of eating and learning about great food and drink while learning about the neighborhood and general Parisian history. Dakota executed the tour perfectly and Felix added only what a native Parisian can. Add the drinks package! We would absolutely book another tour with Eating Europe.

Eating Europe does it again! - 5 years ago we went on our first Eating Europe food tour while in Rome and it was the highlight of our trip. So when it came time to go to Paris we decided to book their Parisian tour and it did not disappoint. The tours are so great because they take you to the neighborhoods where life happens. You get to meet food artisans and hear about the history of the city, it’s people and their food culture. We loved our second experience and will definitely look to book a tour for our next European adventure.

Fun, unique food tour. - While all food tours stop at various locations to sample local cuisine, most are in touristy areas. On this tour, Leo lead us through a more residential, diverse arrondissement of Paris, with more of an ethnic flare and an attention to taking regular foods but elevating them somehow, places with a funky, fresh vibe . I enjoyed the tour very much; I ate both dishes I've had before, but prepared using newer concepts, and some new ones that I've never tried. If you love food tours but want something new and hip as well, this one's for you!

Fascinating and fun food tour - My boyfriend and I had a great tour - it was way more interesting than I'd expected it to be. Not just your usual typical foods and the guide (Dakota) was great at incorporating the history of the city and its neighborhoods into the tour. Fascinating to put everything in a larger context.

A most enjoyable afternoon - Terrific tour, hosted by the charismatic and charming Marie, who led us through the history, food and sights of Paris. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants to scratch beneath the surface and see (and ermmm... taste!) Paris through the eyes of a local.

A MUST DO in Paris! - We booked both Paris Tours: Hip Eats & Backstreets & Montmartre Brunch Tour - We highly recommend both! They are two completely different vibes and you will experience two different arrondissements of Paris. All the food was one-of-a-kind and absolutely amazing. We would not have been able to experience these foods and places on our own. Leo, our guide was absolutely the best! His passion for the foods, history and culture of Paris shined throughout the tours. Because of our great experience with Leo, we are booking another tour with Eating Europe in another city.

Excellent tour with great guide! - We had an excellent tour with Marie in the 10th and surrounding areas in Paris. Cheese, charcuterie, wine, and more with good information on the history and evolution of the neighborhoods in which we walked. Our group was all ages, from 16 years to 60+, and we all learned something new. This was a 2nd tour with Eating Europe (Paris and Rome) and we would recommend them to anyone for a great introduction to major European cities.
