Entertaining, excellent value for money. - On the bike it was stunning to see the contrast between the parkland nature, the relaxed and modern outer Parisian suburbs and the ornate historical Versailles. The palace itself was breathtaking, and visits around the grounds enriched the whole experience. Renaud’s enthusiasm and organisation were relaxing, the bikes were super simple to use and we got plenty of time on our own to explore at each stop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour - a fun, good value and entertaining day.

amazing experience - Cycling through the forest was incredible! Unfortunately to get there one of the cyclists had an accident which delayed us over an hr, and the guide was amazing in looking after her while the rest of the group waited, which was ok. He was quick in response and refiguring the end of the day, which we all had to take the train back to the bike shop. I liked how he was already making some decisions about how to assess potential riders abilities in advance of ride day, as this girl was a very inexperienced in cycling

Biking trip to Versailles from Paris - The full day e bike cycling trip to Versailles was wonderful. The guide Nicolas was nice, friendly and informative and made the long trip quite enjoyable. The crowds at the palace were unbelievable . Thankfully the cycling along the countryside , villages , forest and suburbs of Paris made the trip very special. I feel this is a must do trip if you are fond of cycling and enjoy the outdoors !!

Great e-bike experience!! - Loved going off the beaten path to Versailles! Felt like we got to see so much more than if we got on a train! Long day but well worth it!!

Wonderful Paris excursion - What a wonderful way to see Paris and Versailles. The bikes were well maintained. Our guide expertly took us through Paris traffic areas out to country roads. It's also a great way to see the palace fro. the outside .

First time in Paris - Easy ride on teh Ebikes, equipment was in great condition and our guide Renault really took good care of us and showed us the Paris countryside, the small palaces around Versailles, and even a picnic on the gardens around the Grand Canal. Highly recommended.

Versailles Bike Tour - Thoroughly entertaining and informative guide David escorted us on the bike tour while imparting his depth of knowledge of the histories of Versailles. David adapted our schedule to factor changing weather. We enjoyed his humour and anecdotes relating to the reigning Kings - and his general organisation and professionalism. Thanks David for a most memorable day Sheree & Marcus

Review - Our guide, Renaud, was extremely friendly and easy to speak with. He emanates warmth and we were happy to be on his tour. Unfortunately, due to our own personal extenuating circumstances, we were unable to finish the tour, but it was not Renaud's fault at all. FYI to all future bikers, you need to be a proficient rider.

Anyone thinking of visiting Versailles this is a definite do! - Definitely recommend. We were not sure if we would be able to complete this trip or not but we did and had the best experience. A wonderful alternative to see Paris, the city of Versailles and the Versailles Palace. It was a long day and we were tired by the end but we did it! The group of about 8 ranged in age from 20 something to 70 something and all had a wonderful time. Renaud, our tour guide and host, was informative and caring. Make sure that you know how to control a bike but other than that very easy. Very flat except for a few places but the e bikes we had a lot of get up and go. If you have any questions prior to booking, Renaud was quick to respond. A definite recommend!

Recommended cycling trip, but with some room for improvement - This is an amazing day journey if you would like a beautiful ride through the green spaces and charm between Paris and Versailles. The tour operator takes a creative route that you could never figure out in your own. We are very glad we went. The weakness of the tour was that our guide was quiet and offered little information along the way, and you tour Versailles on your own. Other bike tours that offer less cycling (take the train to Versailles and then get on your bike) appeared to offer more of an informational tour. Also, an older woman on our ride fell twice and got many bloody contusions. (It’s not a dangerous ride, but there are cobble stones and various terrain issues that make it so that you should be comfortable and competent on an e-bike.) Our guide had a modest first aid kit, but offered no care or leadership. I stepped in to bandage the woman and take care of her. Also, no water is provided, so be sure to bring your own. Overall, I would say that it’s a great experience to be able to take this ride and I recommend it. You will see beautiful green space and charm that no other tourist sees, it’s just that there were aspects that could have been better.
