A fun experience! - So fun! We had an interactive lesson making baguettes, Faniciers, and rolling croissants. We even got to take some home! Learning the history of these items and the details that go into each baked good made it even better. David was fantastic!

Fantastic unique and unforgettable experience - Absolutely excellent tour, perfect for our family with 11 and 14y/o. So interesting to see the process of bread and pastry making in the heart of Paris. Free coffee & pastries to accompany our experience. We took our bread away and ate it in a sunny park nearby with some jambon & fromage, perfect! Cannot recommend highly enough!

This was a great... - This was a great experience for our family. Pierre was an incredible tour guide and being in a real working bakery was amazing. We will recommend this class to all of our friends.

Unique experience in a real working bakery - We had a wonderful time with our guide Pierre. Our two teenagers also really enjoyed the hands on experience. One of our favorite things we have done in Paris so far!

Incredibly immersive bakery experience - David was our tour guide today. He was extremely welcoming and had lots of knowledge. He guided us through how to make baguettes and financiers and then also to roll our croissants. An absolute immersive experience in a traditional Parisian bakery. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys baking or just simply eating bread and pastries.

Baking for a good time! - What a fun tour! This takes you through the kitchen of the bakery to show you what it takes for them to pop out 100's of delicious breads and pastries everyday! The best part for us was the hands on baking lesson for making baguette's, croissant and little cakes called financier. Pierre was our host and he was so upbeat and happy and made this experience very enjoyable. If you love to bake (or just love to eat baked goods!) this is a great way to spend a couple of hours in Paris and learn more about traditional French baking.

Instructor was okay, we were not given breakfast as advertised and not sure why - The class itself was informative and fun. Our group had 2 adults and 3 kids, and another party in the group had an adult and 2 kids. The teacher (I think his name was Martin) was nice, but I would say his experience with kids, especially younger kids (there were 3 six year olds in our class) was not lacking. Martin wasn’t terrible, but there were some points where it was obvious he did not know how to respond to the challenges that children bring. Also, we signed up for this class because we thought it provided breakfast- pastries and drinks. After we made the baguettes and financiers, we were given plenty of both in takeout bags. But we were not offered anything else. No drinks- no water, coffee, or tea, and no other breads/pastries were given. Our friends, who had taken the same class at Chez Manon the same week as us, had a different instructor, who had lots of experience with kids and also provided them a space after the teaching. The space had tables and chairs, coffee, tea, water, and a plate for each attendee filled with pastries. They ate the food and drinks together with the instructor after the class ended. Our experience was completely diffferent after instruction ended. We were handed bags with baguettes and financiers we had made, and then were quickly ushered outside the patisserie to pay our tip and say goodbye. There was no time to sit and eat anything, and we were not given anything to drink or other pastries. In fact, our family was hungry (we hadn’t eaten breakfast because we thought the class would provide it) so I went back inside to buy additional food from Chez Manon for us to eat on the street corner. Overall, the class itself was okay. But it did not provide what was advertised- which was a breakfast with the class. I guess it depended on who your instructor was, since our friends had a different experience with a different instructor at the same patisserie.
