Highlight of our trip!!! - Amazing trip!!! Highly recommend to anyone looking to have an active day and truly experience Versailles and the surrounding area! We were in Europe for nearly 3 weeks visiting a number of major areas and this tour was in our top 3 of favorite things we did during our trip. It’s a full day, 8:30am to 6-7pm, but we got to see and experience so much that we otherwise wouldn’t have. Our tour guide, Nico, was incredible at providing direction, leading us, and checking in along the way. There were a number of stops on the way out to hit the major highlights. While around Versailles, we got to pick up lunch at the local market, eat in the park next to the water, see the Queen’s hamlet, tour the palace, and walk through the gardens. There was a slight hiccup with my garden ticket that cost me an extra 10 euro, but the guides reimbursed me immediately upon arrival back at the starting location. This trip is certainly not for those looking to have a chill day, as it is 22 mi in total and a fair bit of walking, but if you’re up to it, I would highly recommend this tour and our guide, Nico, who was happy to answer our endless questions! Highly, highly recommended!

Beautiful ride with a consummate guide - Renaud outfitted the group with great quality bikes and we were in our way, expertly threading the urban bike lanes, to the path along the Seine and then into a series of tree lined parks, gardens, forests and picturesque towns. The pacing of riding to the market, “facilities visits” and picnic stops was well calibrated, important for a 9 hour day. The planning nicely balanced the group cohesion while riding, and independence and self-pacing during the museum visits. Our guide pre-purchased tickets that smoothed our entry at the various sites. Renaud was informative about the history and culture of our tour, and his warm and friendly demeanor made it a very pleasant experience. I’ve been to Paris many times, but this tour opened new sensory sites and experiences that greatly enriched my stay.

See parts of the city you’d usually miss! - What a day this was! Reno (I hope I spelled that correctly) had a very interesting day for us. This was my first time ever on an electric bike so that was a treat in itself lol. The tour included cycling to and from multiple locations. I was able to see parts of the city that I wouldn’t have on my regular tourist adventure. The highlight of the tour was being able to go into the market and picking out what I wanted for lunch as well as enjoying a picnic next to the water. This is indeed a full day tour so be prepared for that, but it is also enjoyable!

Best Tour Paris has to offer! - Hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever booked and been on! I was super nervous due to the weather reports of thunderstorms but so happy we didn’t cancel! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the bikes, city and the route! He was also beyond prepared, with ponchos for us and the bikes, as well as a weather resistant picnic blanket for the lunch behind Versailles. The market to grab lunch was just amazing! True cultural experience in itself! There was plenty of time to walk the most important items in Versailles, and honestly we were ready to go by the 2hr mark. The bikes make it way less strenuous- you still have to pedal but there is a ton of help for hills and inclines. Your butt is gonna hurt at the end, but the sights, adventure, and overall experience are well worth it!!! If you enjoy bike riding through cities, do not miss this tour!

Wonderful visit to Versaille by electric bike with inaeri - Renaud's electric bike tour to Versaille was amazing. The bikes are top of the range and he coped so well navigating around a closed park and all around the gardens and palace. The biking to Versaille was a memorable part of the experience. Top recommendation and many thanks. We enjoyed the stops and commentary along the way.

Hands down the Best day trip!!! - This was an exceptional and outstanding experience. I had the very best time, the e-bike’s make hill climbing and the distance so doable. You do want to be a fairly adept biker, there’s a lot of negotiating traffic, pedestrians and cobblestone in places and you’ll be covering about 25 miles. The market, gardens and Versailles are so stunning, I would do this tour again and again.

Such a Wonderful Day! - Our guide Nicolas was wonderful. The meet-up was at a good location and made it easy to begin our adventure. We were able to purchase water for the day at a local grocery store, but I’d recommend bringing some with you- we were able to refill our bottles at a few obvious spots which was helpful. Nicolas was patient with our small group that needed a little time to acclimate to the e-bikes (good condition). The first minutes were through an area that allowed for that. I was concerned that riding a bike though crazy Paris traffic would be dangerous but we took a route that had good bike paths that didn’t involve the level of traffic you see in Paris. Phew! Besides, much of the paths were off the roads- The French definitely do bike paths correctly. My only suggestions for someone considering booking this trip are- if you want to spend a lot of leisurely time in Versailles Palace and the gardens to read each display, have e snack or coffee at the cafe and shop, you may not enjoy this tour. While we felt the time was good for us- the crowds inside the palace make navigating difficult. Not Nicolas’ fault. In fact, he gave us very useful recommendations of what to see- so we didn’t linger on any other spots. The time was good for us! There were so many memorable and very special stops for this lovely day- that we wouldn’t have had the knowledge to find, for that we are very pleased to have decided to take this tour- Finally… the lunch stop after getting our food & drink at the Versailles Village market (AMAZING)) was beautiful, relaxing and. exceptionally special!!! Wow- having fresh bread, cheese & fruit in full view of the Versailles Palace- Perfection Great Tour! Great Fun!!

Great experience but you must be a competent rider. - This tour will definitely fill an entire day and you will be exhausted. I’m glad we did it because it was really the best way to experience riding around like a local. It was a good mix of destinations and we enjoyed the market/picnic part. I wish we had more time at Versailles but that could easily fill a day alone. The only caution I would note is that if you take children, they should be older and experienced riders. Some members of our group had to drop out because the children had trouble. You are definitely in busy traffic for some parts. Our daughter did fine but she is a teen and has an e-bike of her own.
