Monet's inspiration - It was great to see the gardens that inspired Monet. But even equally if not more interesting was the house where he lived in the way that it too was so creatively decorated inside with the plethora of different colors and yellow dining room set and just look like such a happy place although I believe he was not essentially a happy person by nature. But the environment was certainly filled with joyful colors

Super - Had no idea that the gardens were so large and lush and full. My photos turned out great! Monet is one of my favorite artists. It rained in the morning even, but cleared up for the day

Beautiful - We saw Giverny in the Autumn and it was gorgeous. we went in the afternoon and were late getting there due to a hold up on the motorway. We almost had the garden to ourselves which really added to the enjoyment. The Monets home was stunning. Our tour Guide was excellent, sharing with us all she knew about the gardens and the Monets life. highly recommend this trip.

Stunning all year round - Garden was more than I imagined. The Autumn colours were stunning. It is a really rushed tour only being half a day but worth it if you have limited time in Paris like we did,

Visit to Giverny - The tour was well organized and comprehensive. Unfortunately there are too many tours arriving at the same time. The place is jam packed and overrun. It is hard to appreciate the gardens. This is not the fault of the tour operator. Potential visitors should be aware of the circumstances

Disabled guests prepare for much walking. - Excellent place to visit but very difficult for restricted mobility guests. Limited and poor signage to facilities. Much walking involved.

Bait and switch - I booked in February for a September morning visit. The tickets were for a minivan of 6-8 passengers and a guide. Instead we were bused by coach with 60+ passengers. The gardens were lovely but too crowded and the visit rushed. Very disappointed.

Totally Unsatisfactory - I was so disappointed. It was so crowded that we were herded around single file with no time to stop or be on our own. The guide, which I had paid extra for as she was supposed to be an art historian, didnt seem to know anything and told us nothing we didn't already know about Monet and she knew absolutely nothing about the plants in the garden calling dahlias daisies and colchicums lilies! There was no time to browse the gift shop because we had to leave immediately for Paris. Totally unsatisfactory on every front. Please let me know how to apply for a refund.
