Fantastic tour! - We had a wonderful tour with Tamari. She knows the history of the area so well and we learned so much from her. She also has a terrific sense of humor and she made it a fun experience!

A interesting and enlightening tour - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Le Marais with our guide, Francois. He is highly knowledgeable about the history of the area and is a wonderful storyteller, bringing the major figures involved to life. He focused much of the tour on the Jewish Quarter, showing us, among other things, the Jewish Museum, the wall of the righteous, and an old synagogue. With compassion and clarity, Francois related how the tragic events of history affected the Jewish population in this area, and ended on a hopeful note of the area’s rebirth.
Francois is a gem, and we highly recommend this tour!

Interesting experience - Guide offered intriguing insight into the Marais. While little qualified as 'Jewish' for the experience, nonetheless an interesting visit.

Great tour and guide - This was a great tour. The guide Hugo was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job of bringing the story and the history together. The only thing that could have improved this tour was having time to go into the Holocaust memorial.

Behind the doors of Marais. - Our charming guide, Francois, with his animated presentations, brought the entire district to life for the 4 of us! His knowledge of the history of the Marais coupled with his concern that he introduce areas we wanted to experience led us on a tour we will not forget. His explanations in English were very clear. He was obviously “on stage” and deserving of our applause! Thanks for a wonderful 2.5 hours!

History lesson - Francois was theatrical, knowledgeable, and a historian. I would recommend if you want to learn about Jewish history in France. It was not an uplifting stroll around La Marais but an interesting tour
