Le Marais tour with Tamari - Fantastic tour of Le Marais and the Jewish Quarter with Tamari. So much history packed into this neighborhood. Tamari was great with historical insights as well as contemporary events. Really enjoyed wandering the streets of Le Marais with our informative guide!

Amazing - Francois was amazing!! So knowledgeable and engaging. Made for a fantastic time filled with history, bridging the past to the present, and it was a great way to see the entire area of Le Marais. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Engaging and fun - We had a wonderful time with Francois and one more couple. Francois loves Paris and loves history. He is a very engaging. Story teller and gets as deep into history as the questions you ask. Time passed very fast and we needed 3 more hours in Marais to process and digest everything we learn. We also got many pointers for what to do next. Loved the tour!!! Thanks Francois!

The Marais is so rich in History - The Marais is my favorite district in Paris. The history of the area is fascinating. We enjoyed the shops and eateries in the neighborhood. We loved our guide, Tamari. She was so knowledgeable and told us so many fascinating stories. We felt as if we were good friends by the time the tour was over. I would definitely recommend this tour when in Paris.

Fabulous and Educational tour of the Marais - The tour with Hugo was excellent! We didn’t know much about the history of the Marais and Hugo provided sweeping, interesting, vast knowledge in an engaging and lighthearted way. We saw so much, learned so much, and even ended the day with a lunch recommendation!! Excellent!

Walking Into Insight and Inspiration - Francois, a true Parisian (he was born in Paris) customized our tour of the Marais to include less know fascinations as well as the sites for which the place is known. He brought deep knowledge, pride of place - and unbridled enthusiasm to us. The Marais is full of gems — historic and au courant - and having a guide like Francois gave it unexpected and valued dimensions. History of the Jewish quarter, lives of the nobility, the glories of Saint-Paul and tips about the best falafel. This was a walking tour that covered a lot of ground and gave us inspiration and insights.

Brilliant ‘Time travelling’ through the Marais with our guide - Insightful, knowledgeable and perfectly paced history tour with Hugo. He provided an amazingly concise and easy to follow history of the Marais within such a short time and had the breadth of history knowledge to respond to our interests. We’d not stayed in the Marais before and it was the perfect introduction to fully appreciate the extraordinary history of our surroundings.

Good but could be better - The tour was good but too many churches and not enough of the Jewish quarter and LGBT neighborhoods. That is more relevant for Le Marais.
