Discover the Church of Saint Paul and Saint Louis before walking through the courtyard of the majestic Hotel de Sully. Continue experiencing the royal history of the Marais by exploring the pristine Place des Vosges, a public square with unparalleled beauty in Paris. Afterwards, move forward in time to learn all about the bustling Jewish community that put the Marais on the map through the 18th and 19th centuries. Wander the bakeries and boutiques of the Pletzl before strolling the shop-laden rue des Francs Bourgeois. All the while you’ll discover mansion after mansion, former homes to the nobility that once called the Marais home. Some are now museums, like the highly worthwhile Musée Carnavalet. Informative & efficient - Incredible museum and a wonderful guide. The guide was kind and knowledgeable. Our family of three enjoyed the experience. There’s so much to see but the guide makes sure you see the main attractions. It was alsogreat to side step the long entrance lines as well.

La Marais with Francois - We spent a fun and informative morning with Francois! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his hometown of Paris, and was able to accommodate the varying interests of the small group. Very recommended!

This tour is not to miss! - I am writing this review a month late, but that's how memorable this tour was! François knows the neighborhood inside out and customized the tour based on the participants' interests, which included showing us a little known Delacroix painting in a church. His knowledge of the neighborhood's history was impressive and I came away from the tour having greater appreciation for this wonderful neighborhood. Don't miss this tour!

A taste of beautiful La Marais - We lived this tour. It was a really great way to get an understanding of the rich history of the area, its Jewish heritage and multi-cultural aspects. We absolutely loved Tamar’s passion and deep knowledge of the area and its historical significance. Her food suggestions were excellent too! I’d highly recommend.

You must do this tour while in Paris! - Tamari was wonderful. Such a rich and diverse history of this neighborhood and Tamari covered it all very skillfully! We greatly appreciated and enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended!
