Amazing SideCar Ride with Fidel - A sidecar ride has many wonderful associations for anyone from India, like me. ( Google the song video 'Yeh Dosti' from the cult movie 'Sholay' ) And I also got to ride in one some donkeys years ago. So when I found this sidecar ride experience in Paris I booked it in advance. Special thanks to my super awesome host and storyteller - Fidel - who took me on the tour of the sights of the Left Bank of Paris since I had already visited the regular monuments prior. I enjoyed his driving, the experience of riding so close to the ground and yet feeling so perfectly safe. After checking out sights like the Pantheon, the Gardens du Luxembourg, Montparnasse and much more with stories about the immigrants, the American bistros and bars of Paris - my time flew by all too quickly. At the end of the ride Fidel had become an amazing friend. I'd love to come back and do more amazing sidecar rides with him. Thanks so much Fidel. God bless and God speed.

Fun and Interesting for the Entire Family - How do you see this amazing and expansive city with a child who actively complains about walking and tours and museums? You sign up for a motorcycle sidecar tour! It has something for everyone in the family - thrills and amusement, sightseeing and history. My family and I loved the tour, and we all took turns rotating from a sidecar to riding on the back of the bike with one of our tour guides - Praveen and Fidel. It was fun to just ride through the streets, and we also got to some places I haven’t been before, like an ancient Roman amphitheater from the 1st century. I also learned some cool history about Montparnasse, the Pantheon and Les Invalides that I hadn’t known before. I would definitely do it again - looking to book a longer tour and/or one outside of Paris to experience the bikes on (what I perceive to be) quieter country roads.

Great for m/c lovers and perfectly fine for non lovers too!! - Simon is a great tour guide. He looked after us very well, especially as my wife was nervous at first but he got her smiling in the end. We learnt new things we didn't know about Paris also. Recommend fun tour of Paris.

An Easy Ride through the streets of Paris! - Get your motor running head out with Txango tours and owner Simon Burke who made it an easy morning ride around the streets of Paris. From the first contact online to him turning up with Praveen the number two pilot at the designated spot it was a terrific experience. The Royal Enfield bike and side car was a great way to see the city. They wove in the well documented history with snippets and anecdotes. All the time making you feel comfortable and relaxed!

A memorable learning experience with Simon! - This motorcycle excursion with Simon was highly recommended by my sister and her husband who went a few months ago. My husband and I had not heard of such a ride but booked it since purely on the fantastic report. The trip with Simon as the guide did not disappoint since he is a master history buff, educator and story teller! Being a teacher, it is important that I am learning while enjoying the sites! What a fantastic way to see the city and learn along the way! I will never forget this experience and would do it again in a heartbeat with Simon!

The highlight of our trip!! - Our tour with Simon was the highlight of our perfect long weekend in Paris! The experience itself was magical: we loved riding on the motorcycle and in the sidecar and felt like we had an infinitely better grasp of Paris (its history, geography, culture, food) by the end. But Simon (who is a history buff and very experienced tour guide) made it utterly memorable. He is so kind and full of information and stories – and, at every stop, he would take us back in time, connect dots to things we had seen/heard before, and share about his life and what it is like to live in Paris. We can't recommend this tour enough... worth every penny!! (Oh, and at the end of our tour – which happened to be on a perfect sunny day – Simon gave us recommendations for where to find bread/meat/cheese... and we had the best picnic in front of the Eiffel Tour! A perfect ending to a wonderful experience!)
