Paris - 07:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel. Sit back and relax in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for the 180 km drive to the Loire Valley, taking approximately 2.5 hours. Along the way, your guide will provide fascinating insights into the rich history of the Loire Valley’s iconic castles.

Chateau de Chambord - 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Visit of Château de Chambord. Your guide will share the history and architectural details of this iconic castle, built between 1519 and 1547 by Francis I. Known for its French Renaissance style, the castle boasts 440 rooms, 282 fireplaces, and 84 staircases. One of its most famous features is the double-spiral staircase, possibly designed by Leonardo da Vinci, where two spirals ascend without ever meeting.

12:00 PM: Departure to Blois city. The drive takes about 20 minutes (17 km).

Blois - 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Arrival in Blois city for a lunch break. You will have free time to explore the city and enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. We will be happy to recommend a good place for you to dine.

Chateau Royal de Blois - 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Visit of Château de Blois. The Royal Château of Blois, located in the heart of Blois city, was the residence of several French kings. Joan of Arc also visited here in 1429 to be blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before heading to battle against the English. The castle features four different architectural styles and houses 564 rooms, including 100 bedrooms with fireplaces and 75 staircases.

3:30 PM: Departure for Winery Plou et Fils. The journey takes about 30 minutes (30 km).

Plou Et Fils - 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM: Wine Tasting at a local family winery, established for centuries. Learn about the time-honored wine-making process and enjoy a tasting of at least 7 local wines, including red, rosé, and white, with expert explanations.

4:45 PM: Departure to your hotel in Amboise for accommodation. Enjoy some free time to relax and explore the charming city.

Amboise - 5:30 PM: Hotel accommodation at a 4 or 3 hotel in Amboise. Enjoy your evening at leisure, with the option to explore the picturesque town or relax at your hotel.

Amboise - 9:00 AM: Departure from your hotel in Amboise to Château de Chenonceau. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic route as you head to one of the most iconic castles in the Loire Valley.

Chateau de Chenonceau - 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Arrival and visit of Château de Chenonceau. Skip-the-line access with a guide to this renowned “ladies’ castle,” famous for its association with influential women such as Catherine de Medici. Explore the stunning Renaissance architecture and the unique arches spanning the River Cher. The beautiful gardens, featuring over 130,000 flowering plants, will leave you in awe. You’ll receive a brochure with detailed information about each room, allowing you to explore at your own pace. Afterward, enjoy some free time to wander through the gardens.

11:00 AM: Departure from Château de Chenonceau to Amboise city, a short 20-minute drive (14 km).

Amboise - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Arrival in Amboise city and lunch break. Amboise offers a variety of cafes and restaurants along its main walking street, just a short distance from the entrance to Château d’Amboise. You’ll have the best selection for a relaxing lunch. If you prefer, we can also assist in making a reservation at one of the city’s top restaurants.

Chateau Royal d’Amboise - 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Skip-the-line access with a guide to Château Royal d’Amboise. Using a Histopad, your guide will take you through the history of this grand 15th-century castle, a stunning example of the transition from Gothic to Renaissance architecture. Learn about the castle’s significance as the birthplace of princes, the residence of kings, and the final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci, who died here in 1519. Visit his grave in the chapel and explore the rooms that tell the story of his life and work.

3:30 PM: Take a 400-meter walk to Château du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo spent his last years.

Le Chateau du Clos Luce - Parc Leonardo da Vinci - 3:45 PM - 5:30 PM: Visit of Château du Clos Lucé with Parc Leonardo da Vinci. This castle is where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final three years. Located just 400 meters from Château Royal d’Amboise, it is connected by an underground passage. Built in 1471 by Hugues d’Amboise, the castle was once the property of King Charles VIII before being gifted to Leonardo by Francis I in 1516. Today, it serves as a museum dedicated to da Vinci’s life, work, and legacy. In 2021, Clos Lucé was named one of Time magazine’s “Top 100 Extraordinary Destinations.” Enjoy exploring the exhibitions and the beautiful park.

5:30 PM: Return to your hotel in Amboise for a relaxing evening.

Amboise - 9:00 AM: Departure from your hotel to Château de Villandry. The journey will take approximately 1 hour (50 km) in our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.

Chateau de Villandry - 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Arrival and visit of Château de Villandry. Explore this stunning Renaissance château, famous for its beautiful and meticulously designed gardens. The guide will share the history of the castle, its creation, and its connection to the region. Don’t miss the iconic ornamental gardens, vegetable gardens, and the serene water features.

11:30 AM: Departure to Amboise city for a lunch break. The drive takes about 50 minutes (60 km).

Amboise - 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Arrival in Amboise city and lunch break. Enjoy a variety of cafes and restaurants along the main walking street near the entrance to the Château d’Amboise. You’ll have plenty of dining options for lunch, and we can assist with a reservation at a recommended restaurant if you wish.

2:00 PM: Departure to the local winery for wine tasting. The drive takes about 30 minutes (17 km).

Chateau De Chaumont Sur Loire - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Arrival and visit of Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire. This historic castle, founded in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 15th century by Charles I d’Amboise, is now a protected monument. In 1559, Catherine de Medici forced Diane de Poitiers to exchange Château de Chenonceau for Chaumont, where Diane spent her last three years. Explore the stunning architecture and the castle’s fascinating history.

5:30 PM: Departure for Paris. The drive takes approximately 3 hours (200 km).
