Fantastic small tour with an exceptional guide. - A wonderful tour with a fantastic guide, Laurent. The pace was well managed and Laurent added so much with his extensive knowledge of the museum, it's history, and the fabulous collection. Michelangelo, Venus de Milo, Winged victory of Samothrace, daVinci and Delacroix are all spectacular and Laurent has us through in 2 fascinating hours. The wine tasting at a local restaurant was the icing on the cake. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone.

Great Tour, Skip The Lines, Easily Navigate - We were here on August 13th for the 9:30 a.m. tour. Easy meeting point with our superb guide (wish I could remember his name, very smart, personable young man of Iranian decent). Skipped the huge lines, saw all the highlights, and got direction on how to easily get to the front to view the Mona Lisa in the packed hall where it's kept. Lots of other art pointed out, lots of background information, we learned a lot from our visit we otherwise wouldn't have known. This tour really is the best way to see The Louvre on your first visit.

Excellent tour - We had Saeed meet us and take us around the Louvre on Saturday morning. His knowledge of the artworks was amazing. Explained the little details that you would never see if you went by yourself. A very friendly character and was great to spend 3 hours in his company. Would highly recommend the tour!

Louvre tour with Saeed - Steed was an excellent guide and offered information about specific works we otherwise would not have known. The tour only scratches the surface of what is available, but that is the nature of any Louvre tour of this duration

Excellent tour and saved so much time and energy - Saeed was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and approachable. The museum is hella busy especially around the Mona Lisa room but Saeed moved through the crowds with precision and gave good tips on how to get the best pics. I am really glad I did the tour but it was such a sensory overload with all the tourists and pieces of art whilst listening to Saeed, once the tour was done, I was done which was a shame as there was so much more I would of liked to see. However, just means I have to come back to Paris for round 2! Also, being with a group meant we skipped the HUGE line outside and saved hours of my life waiting to get in. Defo worth it, even just for that. All in all, I would recommend.

The great Masters - Our guide was very knowledgeable but I felt for most of the group this information was too intensive. I wondered why we didn’t see Mona Lisa early as the crowds only grew since our arrival.

Be forewarned, possible childish guides. - This was one of the worst guided tours I have ever taken. I should have left when our guide, Sid, announced in the first five minutes that he was also a stand-up comedian and that “you will hate me by the end of the day.” Unfortunately, it didn’t take nearly that long—most of us were weary of him within the first 30 minutes. Instead of letting the art and history of the Louvre speak for themselves while offering contextual comments, Sid constantly cracked jokes while we stood before some of the most beautiful and important antiquities in the world. His humor included irrelevant references to sex, politicians (both recent and historical), and assigning random nicknames to historical figures (at one point repeatedly calling a King “Ryan Gosling”). He also spoke often about his “many girlfriends,” which quickly grew tiresome. The humor wasn’t just misplaced, it was childish. Sid frequently tried to draw people into his act—for example, telling my spouse he could be the Venus de Milo’s “boyfriend.” Despite my spouse clearly not wanting to participate, Sid wouldn't let it go. These antics cheapened the entire experience. To make matters worse, Sid decided what was important to view rather than asking our group of 20 what we wanted to see. Questions were nearly impossible. His constant monologue left no room for real interaction, and if you did ask something, it became fodder for more jokes. This was my sixth visit to the Louvre, but my spouse’s first, and Sid ruined what should have been a memorable experience. After three hours, we left the group to see the Mona Lisa on our own because Sid had not brought us there in the allotted time—and we had other, far more rewarding guided experiences elsewhere in Paris . Be forewarned. There appeared to be many other reputable guides in the museum. Choose carefully.
