The meeting point is not at the entrance of the Louvre. Meet our team at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. This huge arch features a horse-drawn chariot on top. With your back to the entrance of the Louvre Pyramid, you will spot it across the road, just before the entrance to the Tuileries Garden.

Best guide for the Louvre - Adi was THE BEST guide for our tour. Exceeded our expectations. She was very knowledgeable about what we were seeing and hit all of the highlights. So fortunate to tour with her. Side note, you are not meeting at the actual carousel in the gardens, but the arch, which for some reason is called the arch carousel.

Great way to experience the Louvre for the first time - I did this tour with my sister and we both loved the experience! Neither of us are museum buffs and would have been lost without a guide. The museum is SO big so this is a great way to see some highlights without being overwhelmed, the 3 hours was a great amount of time. Our guide, Omar, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and added his own personality to the information. He went above and beyond to include a woman that ended up needing a wheelchair and some children in the group without taking anything away from the experience of the whole.

Awesome Severine!! - Severine was AWSOME! She seemed like she really cared about the art. This was displayed by her passion with every word she said.

Great knowledgeable tour - Knowable your guide. As in many are art pieces that are that old a lot of unknowns from artists and pairing. You need to go early in the morning. Place gets crowded quick. A lot of pushing and shoving as you get to the Mona Lisa.

Pros and Cons - Tour Guide Goodo - Cons and pros: we received an email changing our time from 10:30 to 9:00 am. When we arrived to check in, City Wonders insisted we were on the 10:30 tour. Not wishing to chance it, we had to be pushy to get on the 9:00 am tour even though we provided them the email. 2nd drawback: the tour guide did not provide us tickets (they were on his iPad). He failed to explain that once we left the gallery wing, we could not reenter. (A group sales woman helped us to reenter but we could only do one wing which provided access to 2 wings: Denon and Richleau). Pros: the guide was enjoyable, knowledgeable, and informative. The Louvre is huge (43 miles he said), so it’s difficult to find the artifacts you want to see. I recommend the tour, but they need to give you tickets. (We weren’t able to see the van Eyck or Vermeer because they were in a different wing.)

Decent tour, somewhat offensive guide - A decent tour of the Louvre, by Sid, a knowledgable tour guide. However Sid seems to be a wannabe standup comedian, and overdoes it with the forced jokes. Also he should avoid offensive politically-flavoured comments, like his comments about Punjabis in Canada, Canadian federal politicians, and a ridiculous little rant about colonialism.

Terrible. Don’t use this company - Firstly: the meeting place is very poorly described. It’s in an area with thousands of people We got to meeting place early but could not find the tour guide. We went up to what appeared to be our tour. She confirmed two people were missing, which was us. She refused to let us go on the tour. Told us to find a guy in a blue jacket in the plaza. He was nowhere to be found at first. He finally appeared out of nowhere and eventually got us onto a later tour. It was a very stressful experience. Tried texting the tour company but no response. No telephone number provided. Called Viator and they were not helpful either We travel a lot around the world. Unlikely to use Viator again. Will book tours directly with the companies online Don’t use these guys. That’s our strong recommendation
