Family Tour at The Louvre & Orsay - Our guide, Malaïka, was wonderful. She was interesting, knowledgeable, and great with our family of 3 kids (ages 15, 13 and 10). Malaïka spent time explaining the pieces in such a way to captivate the interest of our kids.

A walk through the art of the ages. - Marcel gave a detailed and precise tour. He entertained all of the group’s questions. The Louvre is overwhelming with its extensive collection. Marcel brought us to several artworks that one should not miss on even this brief tour. As we moved through the various collections, he gave us the best art lesson that enabled us to see the progression of techniques that evolved through art history. In the D’Orsay, he walked us through the Impressionistic Period from its birth to the end using excellent paintings to illustrate its characteristics. Marcel’s tour was given with wit and professionalism. A most enjoyable tour with a very polished young man.

Best Tour I’ve Ever Been On! - We were fortunate enough to go on a semi private guided tour of both the Louvre and Musee d’Orsay or with our phenomenal guide, Sunday. Her thorough knowledge of the art, artists and history - combined with her storytelling skills were unparalleled. She brought us through time and tied pieces with moments in history from both museums. After spending five hours with her and her vibrant personality and amazing sense of humor, I can confidently say it was one of the most entertaining and informative tours I’ve done in my life.

Great Tour—Thanks to Great Tour Guide - We had a fantastic tour with Hugo, our guide. He was incredibly efficient in getting us around the museums while also giving us plenty of time to enjoy the works. He is also clearly both very knowledgeable about the works and also very passionate about them, and it comes through. That is especially true with his incredible charisma. Hugo claimed at the start of the tour not to speak great English, but that’s not the case at all. He is extremely fluent. Some say the mark of knowing a language is being able to joke in it, and Hugo is hilarious. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Do try to do the Louvre on your own - What an amazing experience. Eduardo was fantastic! He used his knowledge as an art historian to demonstrate meaningful interactions with specific examples. What an enriching experience. I hope we have Eduardo as our guide for the Orsay Museum tomorrow.
