Beautiful Art and a Great Tour - Our guide Antoine was a gem from start to finish. His extraordinary knowledge of the art and artists - particularly the Mona Lisa & Leonardo Da Vinci - brought great depth to our visit. He gave us an excellent overview on the Louvre and then we visited the most famous pieces in the museum, all in about two hours. After that we had plenty of time to revisit many of the areas. In addition to Antoine's art expertise, the skip-the-line feature of this tour is another reason to book this. When we arrived at the pyramid there was a coordinator waiting for us who led us to Antoine, who was already waiting in a line that fairly long a half hour before opening and became incredibly long later in the day. We only had to wait in line about 20 minutes and we were at the Mona Lisa within minutes once we got inside.

Louvre Highlights Tour - Meg is an excellent and engaging tour guide. We were able to view The Mona Lisa without the crowds. Just prior to entering Le Louvre, Meg gave us the history of the painting and off we went. So glad we booked Liv Tours with Meg as our guide. She made our Louvre experience very enjoyable and educational. Fantastic tour!!

Great Experience! - A fantastic whistlestop tour of the highlights of the Louvre. We were greeted at the meeting point and introduced to Diane, our guide for the tour. Immediately, we were taken to the front of the queue, and were kept entertained and informed with some of the history whilst we waited to enter. Once we got in, it was straight to the Mona Lisa, arriving before the hoards that followed! Onwards from there, we saw the other De Vinci paintings, and were given a simple lesson in how art had developed that even a non-artist like myself could understand! This was followed by an hour of the museum's highlights. All in all, a great time.

Book this Tour! - Please book the tour. You go to the front of the line first thing in the morning. Your guide brings you exactly to the Mona Lisa while other people are still trying to figure out how to get there. The tour was exactly as described. We have been on several guided tours. Imad was our tour guide and was beyond exceptional. Extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Louvre and the art inside. We were beyond impressed. He was personable and encouraged us to ask questions. We made it to the Mona Lisa as the first part of the tour, then we saw several other exhibits. After the tour you can stay and visit what ever other exhibits you’d like. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour with Imad. We wish it was longer!

Don’t need the rest room - Positives: Loved the early access and the tour guide providing an ear piece so that you could clearly hear. Negatives: there is absolutely no provision to go to the toilet during the tour. I was unlucky enough to need to go during the initial half hour wait in line outside (yes I went before I came - just unlucky) and was directed toward a local cafe, and told to be quick. The race to the Mona Lisa is the priority (fair enough too) so even when the doors open, and you enter the Louvre, toilet breaks are not possible. So, we raced off to the cafe. However, the nearby cafes won’t allow you to use the washroom unless you are a sit down customer (there’s no takeaway option), so you either walk for miles to find a public toilet or hang on. Didn’t make me popular with the guide who rang to ask where we were. We told the tour guide not to wait and inconvenience others, and to simply go ahead without us and we would return headsets at the end, which was apparently unacceptable and resulted in her shouting at me on the phone. We jumped the queue of the massive line to return the headsets asap, which calmed her down, and went our own way.
