The private tour option is definitely the way to go!

Must do the Louvre with Liv Tours! - I will not do the Louvre again any other way. I love Liv Tours and will seek them out in other destinations. Everything was so well organized and planned. Also - Liv Tours contacted me a month before my visit to Paris to alert me about the Pass Jeux needed to access the city in preparation for the Olympics. It’s a security clearance you have to apply for and can take 3 weeks to obtain. Because of Liv Tours, we had our clearance in hand the day the barricades went up and I noticed hundreds and hundreds of visitors to Paris that had no idea and therefore no access. Thank you Liv Tours for that amazing hook up! We felt like we had parts of the city to ourselves. Back to the tour - Anna was our guide and was lovely and informative. She took us straight to the Mona Lisa first and we got pics without others in the shot! We saw all the highlights with her and were done by 10:30am to walk around by ourselves. We also learned some great history about each of the pieces we saw. Next time we will do a longer tour of the Louvre with Liv Tours no doubt, but this was perfect for my son’s first time at the Louvre. It made the experience enjoyable and not frustrating as can be the case at the Louvre given the size and crowds. Thank you Liv Tours!!

Achille is the best! - Achille our guide was the best. He got us ahead of the line, knew the best access points and has an encyclopedic knowledge of art and the exhibits. I would hire him for an entire week. The best.

Excelllent Louvre Tour w Claire! - Highly recommend private tour of the Louvre with Claire. Claire was lovely! She’s knowledgeable, intelligent, kind, and was very thoughtful in the works that she guided us to. She answered all of our questions, had deep and detailed knowledge about the exhibits we saw, and was friendly and kind. We truly felt we were touring the Louvre with a friend, not a tour guy. We would highly recommend Claire and would request her next time we’re in Paris!

Great Louvre tour! - Our guide, Alex, was truly amazing. Funny, knowable, and kept the tour at a great pace! We really enjoyed our semiprivate tour with him. He was able to take us through the highlights of the Louvre and was wonderful at providing history and facts!

ALEX IS A STAR - Alex is the best!! He turned a horrible beginning (workers went on strike) and made it an educational extravaganza!!!! The tour was a delight! Very informative and interesting!!! I will come back to Paris just to have a tour with Alex. TEN STARS

Well worth it.. - Great tour. Highly recommended. Skipped the lines and made the most of our time. Amazing building that you could spend days in.

Excellent Private Tour of Louvre - Ana was amazing. She met us a block from the museum and gave us a wonderful introduction as we walked to the entrance. We arrived early and we easily got close to the Mona Lisa. Ana was happy to take photos of us whenever we wished. She explained the history surrounding the painting and described the theft of it as well as its recovery. Other highlights included the Venus di Milo. Ana did an excellent job diverting us to the most noted works of art while avoiding the crowds.
