Highly recommend! - We landed in Paris and immediately went to check out The Louvre and wine tasting. It was the perfect first day activity as it let us see the history of Paris while also understanding how to choose the perfect wine. Our tour guide at the Louvre was Sylvie and she was magnificent. Super knowledgeable and made the entire tour so fun! Our wine tasting expert was Charolette who took the time to answer all of our questions and provide us with an excellent cheat sheet. Overall a super enjoyable experience! Would definitely recommend this is on your list!!

c'est une nuit magnifique! - This was an excellent introduction to the labyrinth that is the Louvre. Our guide Laura led the group to several of the museum's highlights (the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Coronation of Napoleon, and more), sharing fascinating history along the way about both the Louvre and the works themselves. Given that it is less crowded in the evenings, we were able to progress through the exhibits at a reasonable pace, and after our tour, we were rewarded with wine and cheese pairings at a fascinating wine cellar a short walk from the Louvre. All in all, this was a really terrific way to experience this cultural landmark and Paris. Thanks, Laura, for une nuit magnifique!

Manny is The Man - Great fun! Excellent. My only regret is that we did not have any small change to tip Manny. His knowledge and insight was excellent. The tour was a delight. Something was going on at the beginning and it took the tour people too long to figure it out. Although it seemed a little disorganized at first, once we got into the Louvre Manny made many acute observations and asked us to consider why a certain painting is famous - often a more complex answer that must take into consideration the artist, the art, the times and what else is happening geo-politically. I think the tour inside the Louvre should be 2 hours. 1 1/2 hours including the time we spent while the tour people organized us went far too quickly. The wine tasting was a nice way to end the tour, but it meant that we could not spend a bit more time in the Louvre.

Evening Mona Lisa Guided Tour - This tour of the Louvre was JUST to see the Mona Lisa. I do not believe it says that anywhere in the description. I thought we would spend the 2.5 hours seeing a few highlights of the Louvre instead of waiting in line and hearing the history of one painting. That being said, if you want to just see the Mona Lisa, this is the way to do it. We skipped a huge chunk of line, but still spent probably 2 hours in queue for 30 seconds in front of the painting (literally 30 seconds- the guards time you and then make you move). It is a bit ridiculous as you have your cameras out, rush to the painting to take photos and a selfie and then you are gone before even really getting a chance to look. Our tour guide did get us through quick enough to show us the Winged Victory statue and the Venus de Milo on our way out. The wine tasting was fun, but you didn't really get the history of the cellar and underground tunnels that they talked about.

Too much walking - Walking in louve was wonderful BUT the wine and cheese part was a good 30 minute walk from museum. If I had known that is was not in museum I would not have gone. I had already spent all day walking on a sprained ankle and was in extreme pain by the end. Also I was nervous how to not get lost. I knew my way home from the love but was so far away with many turns. Our guide was helpful but when buying the ticket online it should read, at a local bar 30 minute walk. Also the guide should have a second helper to deal with people's techno problems with audio and to stay at end of line to help help keep track of the group.

Evening Louvre Tour - This activity was the least amount of fun out of everything we did while visiting Paris. We weren’t able to see the Mona Lisa and was not informed until just a few days before. Despite that we decided to do the tour anyway and continued to be disappointed. Our tour guide was just not interesting or entertaining. We were bored throughout the entire tour and decided to leave early. She spent way too much time standing and talking about one thing so overall all we got to see a limited amount of art over the period of an hour and a half. I would definitely not recommend. Total waste of money.

Louvre and wine tasting on speed - We booked this tour thinking this would be a wonderful way to see the the Louvre and enjoy a glass of wine. Don’t do it! We were rushed through the Louvre and only saw a few artworks, including Mona Lisa which is great but everything was sooooo rushed. After practically running through the Louvre, we walked for 30 minutes at a quick pace to the wine tasting. Don’t waste the time
