Must do in Paris! - We had an incredible macaron-making class with Paulette. She was incredibly patient and engaging, especially with my two boys, who were completely involved and attentive the entire time — no small feat after a long day of travel from Amsterdam! Her pacing, attention to detail, and teaching style made the experience both fun and educational. The macarons turned out great, and the entire class was worth every moment and every penny. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Paris — Paulette truly made it unforgettable.

Cooking in the Marais - My daughter (15 yrs.) & I booked this class during a spring break trip to Paris. She is an aspiring baker & LOVED it! Paulette was a pro and shared all of her tips & tricks with us. We enjoyed the class and learned a lot!

Great baking class in Paris! - We had a wonderful time at the Paris Behind the Scenes Macaron Baking Class. Jessica was warm, patient, and made the entire experience a lot of fun. My daughter and I had a great time whipping up the ingredients and we've been enjoying the macarons ever since.

Brilliant macaron baking experience - We had a wonderful experience as a family of 4 (sons are 13 and 12) with Paulette teaching us the techniques for making macarons. The session was fun, with a bit of competition (that the boys loved), Paulette was incredibly knowledgeable and made things fun. It was the perfect activity to do in the morning before we travelled home. And the best thing was the massive amount of macarons we brought home. It was great to have the session in a real bakery which added to the charm and the experience.
My only feedback to the booking agents would be to ensure they are contactable on WhatsApp. We were running late and I couldn’t get hold of anyone to advise them. I didn’t get a reply via the Tripadvisor messenger an hour after I’d sent my first message, however, it would have taken the stress out of running late if I’d been able to send a WhatsApp message.

Fun and easy macaron class - Jess did a wonderful job welcoming us and walking us through the steps of making our own macarons. She answered all our questions about the baking process and made it easy to follow along. Our only drawback was that we couldn’t pick flavors for the macarons (I.e, the ganache was only white chocolate or milk chocolate). Definitely kid friendly!

A memorable Parisian experience - A really fantastic Parisian experience which my 13yo daughter and I will be talking about for many years to come. Paulette was a wonderful teacher, happy to answer all our questions whether they were about macarons, food or about living in Paris. The class was relaxed but productive and we came away with many macarons and the knowledge to confidently make them ourselves at home.
We worked as a pair, with Paulette working with anything hot, but we still mixed, piped and joined our macarons together and Paulette explained all the steps as we progressed. Bring along a a pen and paper to take notes about methodology and any other tips that are shared. The biggest decision you will need to make is what colour your macarons will be!

One of the best things we did on our trip - What a wonderful hands on experience. Our entire family enjoyed learning about the history of the classic macaron as well as getting a tried and true recipe with a wealth of tips and tricks for success in our own attempts once we return home.
