Great Food Tour - Our tour guide Isobel was great. She knew the Montmarte area very well a took us to a bunch of different places during the 2 1/2 hour tour. We had oysters, salmon, cheeses, chocolate, crepes, wine, honey, limoncello, and macarons. I highly recommend this early in your trip to get an experience of the different foods available in Paris. The Montmarte area is amazing!

Save Your Appetite & Don't Eat Breakfast - Jessica was a delightful epicurean guide for our Montmartre food tour. We began with a French Boulangère and learned the difference between the two type of baguettes (who knew the process defines a little know difference). We followed with the oyster bar with s sit-down tasting of 5 different in-season oysters. Next was fromage and a tasting of 6 different cheeses and the foodie explanation to help you plan your next cheese board. Following the cheese sampling came the charcuterie tasting with some amazing pate en crote at the butcher's shop. Learned about all the different types of chickens/fowl that the French enjoy. Now time for a palette cleanse from the world famous chef Alain Ducasse where we sampled and were tested on taste and smell competency. Next came French Galette's (American quesadilla LOL) made crepe style with buckwheat - oh so rich, creamy and delicious - paired with a great IPA style beer. Next came an uphill walk to break the food coma spell that I was falling into and on to a side street and the family run, hole in the wall Lemon Story. Break out some euro's and take home some of the most amazing jams and limoncello type products you will ever experience. Our final food stop was another chef inspired creation and perhaps the most creative macaroons ever made at Pierre Herme. A couple of logistical notes. The meeting spot is just outside a bakery in Montmartre and a good spot to purchase a latte or espresso before the tour. You will be expected to walk uphill and in some cases, on cobblestone streets. There is a lot of food provided and you will be full after this tour. You will end the tour in the heart of Montmartre with all the sites, sounds and views of the city. The walk down is steep and with a lot of steps. You can also take the funicular down. We then went to the train station for our next stop. All in all a fabulous experience. Be sure to tip the guide if they did a good job.

Not value for Money ! - Not value for the money spent, expected more in terms of experience and especially food. The way the eating tour was organized was very amateurish with only two out of seven stops properly sitting in eatery and discussing the food on offer.
