- Chateau d’Eau de Montmartre - Begin the tour at the Chateau d’Eau, an integral part of Montmartre’s water system, which includes three main structures: the reservoir, the Saint-Pierre factory, and this water tower.
- Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre - From the outside, we’ll explore and reveal interesting facts about the second highest point in Paris. Did you know the church has a self-cleaning feature? Maybe not entirely, but you’ll learn about that and much more!
- Place du Tertre - Artists on cobblestone streets, charming architecture, the Basilica and Saint-Pierre Church in the background, with quaint shops and hotels nearby… The ambiance will transport you back to the 1800s.
- Rue Norvins - Here, we’ll find the best macarons in Paris (not just Montmartre). The macaron is a small round cake inspired by meringue, made with almond powder, sugar, and eggs. The dough is baked until golden.
- Musee de Montmartre - We’ll visit the site and explore the Café and Gardens. Overlooking the Clos Montmartre vineyard, the gardens are inspired by Renoir’s masterpieces painted here. Café Renoir, decorated like a winter garden, opens onto the garden with outdoor seating. Here, we’ll enjoy some local pastries.
- Buste de Dalida - In the center of Place Dalida stands the bust of Dalida, also known as Yolanda Gigliotti. Discover the significance of this notable figure in Parisian history.
- Rue Garreau - Our final food stop, where you’ll learn about and taste Choupettes, delightful little choux pastries, a variation of the famous choux pastry dough used in éclairs and cream puffs.
- Rue Lepic - Today, Rue Lepic is a must-visit tourist spot, especially for Le Cafe Deux Moulins. Named after the two nearby windmills, the Moulin Rouge and Moulin de la Galette, it was featured in the beloved French film, Amélie, in 2001.
- Le Mur des Je t’aime - Designed by Frédéric Baron, this wall symbolizes connection and reconciliation, located in the heart of Jehan Rictus square. We’ll conclude the tour nearby, at Place des Abesses.
