Normandy in February - We went in early February and it was amazing. Very quiet. No crowd. Our group seemed to be the only one there that day. Able to reflect on what all happened in this place. Highly recommend this tour. Oliver was our tour guide and was fabulous!

Full day tour to Normandy - Our tour guide was knowledgable and a wonderful driver . I read other reviews that complained about the driving, our guide was a good safe driver! My husband is a history buff and had been looking forward to this tour! The experience was excellent! We had ample time at each stop and our guide provided good historical background! We would highly recommend this tour

Guide was NOT great. - Seeing the DDay beaches in person was marvelous and is something that should not be missed. However, our tour guide did not give us much historical background or a detailed description of what happened on DDay. Our guide was very nice and answered questions, but I expected much more detailed description of the landing sites and what happened on that date.

Trip to Normandy from Paris - Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the experience immensely. I I’m giving 4 stars because at times his speaking volume was hard to understand that day.

The tour was as expected... - The tour was as expected but the tour guide should drive slower. He was driving like a mad man trying to get from one point to another without explaining much about each POI.

Go! - Raphael was a good guide as he knew his history and explained well in English calmly as we drove. Was a beautiful commemorative location for the thousands of soldiers we lost at Omaha Beach. Would have loved to spend more time downstairs in the Omaha museum and had time for the movie. Our guide did say save 45 minute but I wish he had specifically said go downstairs see the movie and the exhibit downstairs which I did not get to experience… and then go out to to graveyard and memorials outside. Also would have liked a more dramatic explanation of the climbing of the cliffs by our young solders as I was in tears while watching a documentary about this… where as I was not that moved by his brief explanation about what the soldiers went through. Also I was very nervous with his fast driving and weaving . He did slow down when I asked him to but I ended up sitting in back seat instead of front seat and then I was able to relax.

Normandy tour/driver - The guide was not really a historian and more of a driver. Took us to the sites but his knowledge was minimal. I would recommend booking with an historian that does this for a living.

Disappointing - Having our pick up point totally screwed up leaving us alone in the dark at 6.30 in the morning. The "rest" stop: 20-30 mins to go to bathroom where lines stretched out the door (imagine being a woman!) and then waiting in another line to buy lousy food to eat. Other than that, cemetery was very moving.
