- The coach journey from Paris to Normandy takes approximately 3 - 4 hours and you will spend 5 hours in Normandy itself
- A warm coat is recommended during the winter period, a raincoat during the summer and a good pair of walking / flat shoes are suggested to avoid discomfort
- Possibility to buy souvenirs at Arromanches
- Toilets are available at the American Cementery, Juno Beach Center, at the comfort stop

Awesome 5 star - Outstanding. Was well managed, our guide Steve letist was amazing. The lunch was just ok, overall great trip and we were able to see a lot and learn a lot on one day. Viator has a way of finding top notch people for these types of tours. Awesome 5 star

Touching history - One of the most significant reasons for traveling to France is our trip to Normandy. This connects you with history in way that a book cannot. Our guide was excellent. There were 4 main stops + lunch + rest stops to and from Normandy. Long day and probably should be spent over several days but if you only have limited time, this is a great way to get an introduction to the invasion at Normandy. You also get to hear how the invasion, while liberating, devastated the local French population with preemptive bombing. Lunch was provided. It was satisfying but I wouldn’t give 5 stars to that part. Small group is the way to go. Highly recommended!

Meeting point is actually the corner of Av. de Suffren and Rue Jean Rey. Further down the street from the Pullman.

A good way to see this important piece of history if you only have a day to do it. - We went to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery from Paris. We mad three other stops. It was informative and we had enough time at each stop. I could have used more at the Cemetery because I felt rushed trying to also take in the museum, but the trip was 13 hours and I understand it would have been even longer. We saw a lot in the time we had for a day trip. I feel satisfied with the experience. Also I initially purchased a tour that included lunch, but some of our group was on a different bus with no lunch included. They accommodated myself and two friends to go on the other bus and offered a refund of the lunch part of the purchase without hesitation. I haven’t had a confirmation email yet, but when I logged into Viator it stated a refund was granted. Overall, a good experience and good customer service.

Absolutely wonderful - We had an amazing tour and our guide Steve was full of knowledge and so personable. Would recommend this tour 1000 times. Wonderful way to spend the day outside of the city.

Awe Inspiring Hallowed Ground - Excellent trip through the beautiful French Countryside to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and really made the excursion outstanding! I would quickly take this trip again. Worth your time to stand where the greatest generation showed valor and sacrifice beyond belief.

Normandy Visit - This day trip from Paris was a must see. Steve was our tour guide and provided some great historical information during our trip. We really liked being part of a small group tour. We were not able to access all areas during our visit as they were preparing for the 80th anniversary ceremonies. Also it might have been good to have a little more time at each stop, however, with the travel time we understand the limitation. Overall, a great day and would definitely recommend.

Cramped. Hungry. - Trying to get comfortable on the bus which appeared to be designed for young children. Also, the information for the trip indicated that breakfast would be provided, but it was not.

Small Group Max 8 was... - Small Group Max 8 was actually group of 22 in full size bus. Not notified of change. Allocation of times for the few stops 15 minutes only except Cemetery of over 1hr. Drove by 2 museums but no stops done. Scenery was exceptional.
