- The coach journey from Paris to Normandy takes approximately 3 - 4 hours and you will spend 5 hours in Normandy itself
- A warm coat is recommended during the winter period, a raincoat during the summer and a good pair of walking / flat shoes are suggested to avoid discomfort

- Toilets are available at the American Cementery, Juno Beach Center, at the comfort stop

WWII Experience in Normandy. Exceptional! - Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. The tour was exceptional and very impressive. I recommend it to anyone who loves history and WWII.

Good look at WWII through the stories - Steve was a very engaging guide. Very knowledgeable about the 2nd world war. We had a great time even on the bus. We took a small group tour. Max 15 people. The lunch that was provided was also excellant. This tour hit all the high spots for us. I would recommend and ask for Seteve

Awesome 5 star - Outstanding. Was well managed, our guide Steve letist was amazing. The lunch was just ok, overall great trip and we were able to see a lot and learn a lot on one day. Viator has a way of finding top notch people for these types of tours. Awesome 5 star

Touching history - One of the most significant reasons for traveling to France is our trip to Normandy. This connects you with history in way that a book cannot. Our guide was excellent. There were 4 main stops + lunch + rest stops to and from Normandy. Long day and probably should be spent over several days but if you only have limited time, this is a great way to get an introduction to the invasion at Normandy. You also get to hear how the invasion, while liberating, devastated the local French population with preemptive bombing. Lunch was provided. It was satisfying but I wouldn’t give 5 stars to that part. Small group is the way to go. Highly recommended!

It says "breakfast... - It says "breakfast included". But we just stopped at a gas station and we were given time to get something from the one small coffee shop that was open inside. But, we were also given limited time at some of the other memorials. 20 minutes is not enough time to enter the memorials and walk around. But, given that we had a long ride to and from Paris, I can understand why the need to rush on some locations. We did have an hour to visit the American memorial which was very nice. But, you do have to keep track of the time and not be late going back to the bus. Otherwise they will go out and look for you. The guide was very knowledgeable.

Normandy Visit - This day trip from Paris was a must see. Steve was our tour guide and provided some great historical information during our trip. We really liked being part of a small group tour. We were not able to access all areas during our visit as they were preparing for the 80th anniversary ceremonies. Also it might have been good to have a little more time at each stop, however, with the travel time we understand the limitation. Overall, a great day and would definitely recommend.

Small Group Max 8 was... - Small Group Max 8 was actually group of 22 in full size bus. Not notified of change. Allocation of times for the few stops 15 minutes only except Cemetery of over 1hr. Drove by 2 museums but no stops done. Scenery was exceptional.

Not worth the money - We were expecting a small group, max size 15 people. We ended up on a large tour bus with over 40 people on board. There was limited interaction with the guide, no opportunity to ask questions, and were generally herded about like any other large tour. The description says breakfast was included (it’s not). It wasn’t worth the $300+ we paid for a more intimate, interactive experience. It’s really just another tour…you’ll see the sites ( though there was no visit to any of the museums), but it’s not a $300+ per person tour. I’ve asked for a partial refund. Don’t select this tour—equivalent tours are available for less than half the cost.
