Must See for the WWII enthusiast - Its a full day of well curated stops offering the view from both the Allied landing on the beaches of Normandy and German defenses built to stop them. I left this tour with a more complete understanding of the landscape, chronology, and geography of this pivotal point in WWII. There is something powerful, difficult to capture in words, about standing on the same ground where events I've only read about in history books took place. On the tour we visited both American landing sites, starting at Utah Beach where there is also an excellent museum detailing the events and equipment used for the landings. We also visited the cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach, and, as an added treat, we enjoyed a tasting at a local cidery. Our tour guides, John and Raymond were a wealth of information adding commentary connecting the dots of the events leading up to the landings which truly added depth to the experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Very good one-day tour - This was a good tour. About as well as a single day Paris-Normandy tour could be done. It was less rushed than I expected it to be.

We were there. - We're very appreciative of the quality of our tour guide, John, who made us feel like we were there on the trenches with all the heroes of that day - June 6,1944. He's well versed on all matters pertinent to WW1 and WW2. He was witty, gregarious, and funny at times. The trip was well worth the price of admission. Highly recommended.

Normandy Bucket List - John was an amazing tour guide sharing a wealth of his WWI and WWII knowledge on our way to Normandy—he also gave many book and movie suggestions pertaining to WWII. Visiting Normandy has been on my bucket list and this tour fulfilled the mark! The sacrifices made by our soldiers was humbling.

Fantastic last day in France. - John shared his extensive knowledge of not only Normandy but WW 1&2. He kept us entertained with stories much of the three hour ride to and from Paris to Normandy. The day long tour covered three landing areas with plenty of time for review and exploration. I highly recommend this tour and specifically, John.

Normandy from Paris - We had a trip to Normandy from Paris. It left very early, but took us to 3 different stops, including Utah Beach, Omaha Beach Cemetery, and Pont Du Hoc. The stops were excellent and the guide (John) was very knowledgeable.

Definitely worth doing but is a time drain if you have limited time in Paris. - Seeing Normandy should be on everyone's itinerary. It is a significant time investment though as most of your day is on a bus. Our guide was very knowledgeable but most of what he said was on the bus and not at the sites. This made it a little more abstract. My seat in the full bus was broken. It would not un-recline, and I could not get the seatbelt to work. The bus was also dirty around the floor and seats.
