Great historical tour - Nella gave us an artistic tour of Montmatre and it was extremely fascinating. She is very personable and engaging. We had a fun few hours together learning and seeing so much. Do not hesitate to book a tour with her. The price-value of all With Locals tours in Paris are very very expensive compared to others I have taken in Italy and Spain but not Nella’s fault.

Private Paris Walking Tour was Amazing 🤩 - Welly was excellent. Booked last minute and he customized the best afternoon! It couldn’t have been better except for the weather (but in December who can complain?) I would not hesitate to recommend Welly and WithLocals. Worth every penny.

A walk through history - Andrea has a love of history and how it all works. As we walked through Montmartre, with various stops along the way, he easily relayed how the neighborhood evolved over the years and the role the arts and other social factors played in that evolution. Andrea makes wonderful connections between the present and the past. These connections made for a lively walk and wonderful conversations about the past and present and future with a beautiful neighborhood spurring it all on, hosted by Andrea.

Montmartre at it’s best - Nella did a phantastic tour with us! She was very entertaining, very knowledgeable and a very nice person to guide you. We loved the tour and it will be an unforgettable event.

Solo in Paris - I had a lovely tour with Nella. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and a joy to spend time with. She provided a personalised itinerary and I felt that I got a glimpse of Parisian life, the way it should be. Great conversation too!

'Looking for Napoleon' private tour with Lucien, 2.5 hours - Lucien took my two teenage sons on his tour. Both are studying Napoleon for 'A' level. They were riveted by the experience, finding Lucien to be an informed, amusing, engaged and engaging guide. He brought a touch of quirkiness, which kept them amused, and even sent them a list of links to Napoleon-related films afterwards. Thoroughly worthwhile experience.

Incredibly thoughtful guide! - Louis was a perfect guide for our walking tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and we covered a huge range of topics from current affairs, architecture, philosophy, food and culture. And such a good host. We had great fun popping into shops to sample and buy. And the entire tour was bespoke. Louis took great care and attention to plan and show us the parts of Paris we were interested in. Great private tour and amazing guide - Friends who had recently been to Paris recommended Withlocals, and after looking through all the guides we decided to go with Giedre. She was excellent! She was waiting for us at the designated spot with a smile on her face, and spent just over 3 hours taking us on a personal walking tour through Paris, with some stops along the way to for some quick shopping or to grab a drink at our request. Her knowledge and passion about the history and architecture of Paris was apparent from the start, and she had a great ability to share the history and stories of all the places we passed in such an interesting way and answer our questions. It was really fun exploring Paris with a local, and she was full of helpful little tidbits of information, like when we took the Metro together to one spot she told us to make sure our pockets were zipped and our bags were held close because of pickpocketing, or took us to a street with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower that tourists don't frequent but where the locals like to go. She also shared some of her own personal recommendations for areas to visit, restaurants she loves, good places to buy posters or grab a cafe latte. She curated the tour a bit based on some of the things we wanted to see and do, and at the end dropped us off at an amazing cafe that won the award for the best croissants in Paris in 2023 where we had an incredible lunch. If you're willing to splurge a bit on a private tour (it is expensive) I would highly recommend Withlocals for an elevated experience touring Paris, and if you do a walking tour, you can't go wrong with Giedre. She's absolutely lovely and delightful and is sure to make your tour a wonderful afternoon in Paris.

Walking Tour of Montmartre with Murielle - My wife and I very much enjoyed our tour of Montmartre with Murielle. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We appreciated that she did the tour in french as we requested so we could practice our french as we toured the area. She willingly tailored the tour to our interests. Towards the end the rain was starting to get to us so we ducked into a cafe to enjoy a coffee to round out the tour.

Fantastic WWII Resistance tour - We really enjoyed our Paris WWII Resistance tour with Lucien. He is clearly passionate and knowledgable about the subject and we enjoyed getting to know him a bit.
