Great tour! - Aschraf was fantastic. Knowledgeable, patient (my mom has a knee issue and can’t walk fast) and experienced. I would highly recommend and hope to do again one day!

The best food tour in Paris!! - We were on a ladies trip to Paris and this was our first excursion of the trip and By far the best! Sherif was our tour guide and this young man was not only so personable, accommodating and friendly, his knowledge about the food and the different districts of Paris was second to none! We were bombarding him with questions and were stopping to window shop and he couldn’t have been nicer. But the food we sampled? OMG it started with a cheese and meat platter filled with the most delicious meats and cheeses and the bread! don’t expect to lose weight on this tour! then we had escargot and onion soup. Snails may not be on your list but in France you have to taste. The onion soup was out of this world. Next beef bourguignon with the most creamy mashed potatoes and finally profiteroles probably the best ever! All courses in all restaurants paired with delicious wines. These are not your typical tourist locations but truly authentic french eateries! If you go to Paris you need to go on this tour! Thank you Sherif for an amazing afternoon filled with great food and even better company!!

Best Marais food tour and guide - I searched all the food tours for the Marais district and this one has the most savory stops with just 1 sweet that you get to choose. It was wonderful and significantly more than we could eat and drink. Shariff or since we come from Texas, Sheriff is a great guide, with excellent English and we learned what makes a good French bistro. Knowledge we will use when we return.

Outstanding Food Tour! - We had a wonderful walking food tour with Achraf about 2 weeks ago. He was an exceptional guide - very kind and super knowledgeable. He walked us to 3 different restaurant stops for food and wine, sharing information and sites along our walk. All of the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend all of the restaurants he took us to. (To my surprise, I tried escargot for the first time and loved it.) Definitely recommend the tour, and encourage you to ask for Achraf. Great experience!

Highly recommend - Marais food tour with Achraf - We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon food tour of the Marais. Our guide was Achraf who shared lots of history on the area as he took us to fabulous local stops to experience excellent French cuisine. Food and wine were delicious with generous portions at a variety of lovely locations. Achraf was very knowledgeable on the development of the area, took us to many gardens and places of historical interest, and provided a number of Marais and Latin Quarter recommendations.

Fabulous food tour - Achraf Sherif was an outstanding tour guide. He was timely, knowledgeable and arranged the most perfect tastings. One of the most enjoyable three hours of our entire week in Paris. He offered some valuable insights on how to navigate the City. Our only regret is that we didn’t arrange for this tour at the beginning of our stay.

Misleading info and poor quality food - I regret booking this private walking food tour of Paris. Our guide, Achraf, was very young and shockingly uninformed about French cuisine and wine. He has only lived in France for four years, and it showed. The inaccuracies he shared were staggering, particularly his false statements about the Burgundy wine classification system. He confidently claimed that wine in Burgundy isn’t measured by Grand Cru or Premier Cru—an absolutely untrue and basic mistake for anyone even remotely familiar with French wine. It was shocking and frustrating to hear such misinformation. The stops on the tour were equally disappointing. We began at a coffee shop to sample mediocre charcuterie instead of exploring any authentic or quality meat and cheese shops. The supposed highlight of the tour—Beef Bourguignon—was also ruined by his bizarre claim that it’s made without wine, which is completely false and dismisses a fundamental part of the dish. If a guide doesn’t know something, it’s far better to admit it than to spread blatant falsehoods. This experience felt more like a poorly researched stroll than an authentic and informative food tour. Save your time and money and look for a tour with a guide who truly understands French food and culture.
