Seamless, educational, fun, and BRILLIANT - Had a friend visit me in Paris and decided to explore the city like tourists. Based on their amazing reviews we booked a Fat Cat Louvre tour with Violette as our guide — it exceeded our high expectations, and we left so enthused about the whole experience that we turned around and booked Fat Cat’s Marais tour with Adam. I can’t say enough good things about both guides! Their wealth of knowledge is unmatched yet they both possess the effortless charisma and wit that keeps one glued to the information they deliver. The friends and clients to whom I’ve recommended Fat Cat Tours have likewise come away from the experience wowed. If you’re hesitating to book, don’t! The experience is worth every penny, and you will absolutely come away having learned a myriad of things you probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Thanks, Violette and Adam!

A Great Tour in the Gay Marais with a knowledgeable, energetic and personable guide - We met our guide Harry outside Les Chimeres restaurant. This began a fun and fast-paced tour of the Marais district. Harry has in-depth knowledge, including some interesting and unusual details about the area. Harry was equally conversant in the political, Jewish and more recent gay history of the district. He was very personable and we truly enjoyed and recommend this Paris Gay Marais walking tour. We ended the tour with drinks and conversation at Cafe Voulez-Vous. We then had plenty of time to further explore the area on our own.

Totally Awesome and Unexpected Walk Through Queer French History! - Wow, guys, you won't believe this tour! The Gay Marais Semi-Private Walking Tour totally blew my mind. If you're like me and enjoy uncovering hidden histories that often get swept under the rug, you're in for a treat!
Our guide, Adam, was such a cool dude, seriously. He was a total encyclopedia of knowledge but with a wicked sense of humor. It was like hanging out with your incredibly smart, slightly nerdy, and super engaging friend who has a knack for spinning a good yarn.
You're not going to believe some of the stuff Adam tells you about the French gay nobility. Seriously, I was like, "No way, that's crazy!" the entire time. It's a shame this part of history often gets "straight-washed" (Adam's word, not mine!), but I’m glad there’s someone like him out there revealing 100% true facts that have been hidden for too long.
The Place des Vosges and other key spots were amazing to see, sure, but the lesser-known locations Adam took us to were absolute game-changers. These tucked-away gems have so many stories to tell, and with Adam's knack for narration, it felt like we were living them in real-time.
What's so cool about this tour being semi-private is that it's super chill. It's like strolling around with a group of friends, which is basically what we became by the end. And Adam, being the rockstar that he is, made sure everyone's questions got answered. It was all very go-with-the-flow and laid-back, which I absolutely loved.
We capped off the tour in a local gay bar, a total cherry on top! Not only did it bring the whole historical journey full circle, but it also put us right in the middle of today’s vibrant LGBTQ scene. We had a great chat over complimentary drinks. Talk about an immersive experience!
So, in short, if you’re looking for a different spin on the usual Paris tour, do yourself a favor and check out the Gay Marais Semi-Private Walking Tour. Whether you're part of the LGBTQ community or just someone curious about this side of history, you're gonna have a blast. And tell Adam I said hi!

Excellent historical drama - I really enjoyed this tour! Adam was very charming and funny. The tour included history from the ancient Parisii to the modern day. My favorite part was the stories he told about French nobles and their lovers.

You, Me & Gay Paris 🏳️🌈 - You won’t be disappointed with this or any of Fat Cat Tours’ experiences! Adam is so lovely, knowledgeable, and entertaining as a guide and host in a city that is clearly so special to him! This was a great way to experience a special part of Paris and learn about some of its exciting queer past and present. Perfect for a couples trip and also a nice way to meet some new, like-minded and friendly faces. Merci et gros bisoux Adam !

Wonderful Tour Of Gay Marais - I was looking for a Gay Tour in Paris and this was the perfect choice. My guide, Adam, was amazing. His great wealth of knowledge was invaluable, as well as entertaining and educational.
He showed me historical walkways, beautiful courtyards and gardens, and a stunning church, all
the while explaining their significance. Most of these places I wouldn’t have even known existed and would have walked right past otherwise.
I highly recommend this tour, especially if you would like to know more about the Marais and it’s gay historical significance.
Merci, Adam!

A fun way to explore Gay Paris! - Adam was informative and fun! We had stayed in the Marais about ten years ago, but saw new places and learned the history behind this beautiful area of Paris. This tour covered so much of the evolution of this area, sprinkled with fun tidbits along the way. We ended with a drink in a local gay bar, which was a fantastic ending.

Educational and Fun - Really worth it to visit the other side of Paris. My tour guide from Fat Cat's was Adam originally from Canada so we could relate since I'm an American. He made the tour very interesting and was quite knowledgable and quite accommodating. I kept stopping for gelato and sweets. We even found a store that sells North American snacks. We walked around the city streets and parks and courtyards. A lot of erotic topics of yesteryear. This is also the jewish neighborhood and the restaurants looks good. Adam gave out a lot of recommendations for food, entertainment and saunas. Tour ends at a gay bar with a complimentary drink. Adam was great.
