Not to be missed! - Wonderful experience! Musee d’Orsay is magnificent, easy to navigate, and should not be missed. We were able to purchase tickets on Viator even though the museum site indicated the day was sold out.

Orsay, such a gem - Wonderful museum! The art is so breathtaking! Not as overwhelming as the Louvre. Therefore, I was able to take my time and appreciate all the sculptures and paintings. Seeing original Van Gogh paintings was definitely the cherry on top!

Impressions art and Eiffel Tower twinkling lights - The Orsay museum was amazing - built around an old train station - the natural light and layout is unique. We enjoyed seeing the impressionist paintings of Monet, Manet, Van Gogh, Degas and more. We spent three hours there and didn’t make it to the other exhibits. There is so much to see you could easily spend an entire day there. We also opted for the Seine river tour - easy to find and board. We took the last trip of the day and were able to see the twinkling lights on Eiffel Tower (happens in the hour at night) as the boat departs right in front of it.

First on my list - Viewing some of my favorite paintings with my daughter was an awesome experience. And the views out the windows of the Paris skyline were a plus.

Bettter than the Louvre - This museum has more contemporary artist than the louvre it is laid out better, the art is easier to see and appreciate. If I had to choose between a two I would pick this one. Loved our day here .

Enriching gallery with a focus on the impressionists, however go early! - Stunning museum with quality art, the only drawback was the crowds that started to develop from 11:30am onwards.

Beautiful Museum, Unable to Cruise. - The D’Orsay was a wonderful museum and a must see if you like Impressionism. Clear instructions on where to go to check in and use the museum tickets. The reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because finding out where to use the cruise tickets was confusing and unclear. You are supposed to use the same voucher from the museum trip and take it to the Eiffel Tower? When we went to the Eiffel Tower to search for the cruise company, we couldn’t find it. Maybe because they were preparing for the Olympics, but, we never had the chance to use the cruise tickets and we would have loved to.

Nice Display But Rushed - We arrived at 4:30, but since the museum closes at 6pm, they were closing portions at 5:30. We enjoyed what we were able to see, but we did not appreciate being rushed to leave earlier than published time.
