• Arc de Triomphe - We’ll be exploring and taking photos while listening to historical stories about the arc, Napoleon, and Paris. Unfortunately, we won’t be going inside or up it.
• Louvre Museum - We won’t be going inside, as tickets are required. It’s not part of the tour. We’ll be exploring and taking photos while listening to historical stories about the old Palace.
• Le BHV Marais - We’ll pass by this massive department store, so no shopping this time. But it’s a place to revisit later.
• Eiffel Tower - We’ll be exploring, taking photos, and listening to historical stories.
• Centre Pompidou - We’ll view this iconic building from afar, as many prefer to see it that way. It’s not everyone’s favorite.
• Conciergerie - As we cross the river by the bridge, we’ll look back at the famous castle, take photos, and listen to historical stories.
• Latin Quarter - If there’s time, you can grab a delicious crepe as we explore this ancient area. We’ll be exploring, taking photos, and listening to historical stories.
• Ile de la Cite - We’ll cross the bridge past Notre Dame and into the old Cite.
• Pont-Neuf - As you cross the river, you’ll see the oldest bridge in Paris, which is amusing because Pont Neuf translates to New Bridge.
• Hotel de Ville - This is where the Paris ‘Merchants of Water’ began. They taxed goods in the 12th century and still tax imports today… some things never change.
• Jardin des Tuileries - The tour ends at the start of the gardens. From here, you can explore their beauty. We’ll be exploring and taking photos.
• Champs-Elysees - A shopper’s paradise… the world-famous Champs Elysees where fashion walks began.
• Fontaine Saint-Michel - Discover the beautiful sculptures scattered throughout the city and learn why.
