Fantastic trip to the Champaign region! - Gilles was an amazing tour guide! Such a fun day and totally worth the trip from Paris. The large champagne house was nice and very informative, however, the local Champagne house, Pierre Morlet was the best! We loved Erik and the Pinot Noir champagne was phenomenal.

Champagne Private Tour - Amazing tour! Eric did a great job setting up the tours and lunch for a group of 10+. We had a big and luxury bus to accommodate our group which was great.

Exceptional once in a lifetime tour! - Gilles took our large group of 22 to Pommery for a wonderful tour of a large scale Champagne distributor, then we went to Averney to a smaller Champagne distributor- Pierre Morlet. Pommery was wonderful but Morlet was an exceptional once in a lifetime experience. We met with Eric Morlet, who opened 2 champagne bottles “the old way” to remove the yeast in his cellar. Then we tasted multiple champagnes in his warehouse! I would enthusiastically recommend Gilles for private excursions while traveling! Merci beaucoup

Book this experience immediately! - The experience was absolutely amazing! Going to major champagne house to a local was a treat. I preferred the local house. Gilles was the best guide for the day! He is knowledgable, personal, and friendly!! Eric at Pierre Morlet was the greatest experience. 10/10 experience!

Excellent restaurant. - I always receive an excellent service in the restaurant, especially with Rosie. Her dedication to her job and customers is first class. The food always arrives quickly but is also cooked to perfection with little extras that I was not expecting. I’m never disappointed when I eat here. Thank you to Rosie as she brightens up our day! 😊

Excellent tour of Epernay area with excellent tours, tastings and lunch. - We drove from Paris to Champagne region with a 5-person tour. Our tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. We visited a smallish family owned champagne house (Pierre Morley) and a large corporate owned one (Mercier). Had a tasting and tour at each. Also, had lunch at Au Petit Forneau in Epernay. Meal was excellent. Great trip.

Day trip to Champagne - We had a great day touring the Champagne region. Our guide, Gilles, was knowledgeable of the area and very personable. We had tours and tastings at a large champagne cellar (Mercier), as well as a smaller family owned cellar (Morlet). Both were fascinating, but we especially enjoyed the tour at Morlet. We’ve always enjoyed visiting the smaller family owned vineyards, and Morlet was no exception. Great day trip from Paris…highly recommend both tour and guide.

Amazing! - We absolutely loved this tour (my husband & I) we were so lucky to have one of the most knowledgeable tour guides ever Ang¿s! She taught us so much about champagne on our way to Épernay. I was a little hesitant because some have said they were unable to get into specific champagne houses, we didn’t have any issues. I booked it well in advance. I just made sure to let them know which one we wanted to visit and made sure to follow up once we got closer. We went on a weekday during the slower season. Also, I wanted to note that Paris traffic is literally no joke. We stayed at the Hilton Paris Opera (very busy because it’s close to everything you need to see your first time in Paris) we still made perfect timing but just wanted to express that’s definitely something they cannot control especially when it comes to your location of pick up. On to the tour! We had the pleasure of visiting Moët & Chandon. The tour was very nice, we were able to walk through their cellars while learning of their process. Once finished we received two full glasses of champagne (this was apart of the booking price). Then you have the opportunity to purchase any additional bottles is you choose, no pressure at all. Also, Dom Perignon is produced by Moët, they sell bottles of Dom in the gift shop and they are priced very fair! Our tour guide then took use down Champagne Avenue to see all the other houses we were good on time so we were able to stop at one and enjoy another tasting (we paid for that but you get a full glass). Then we made our way to Dom Perignon’s burial but before we stopped we had some lunch and enjoyed some more champagne tastings in the same town (this was not included). Once we were finished we visited the church where Dom Perignon is buried. Then we made our way to a smaller champagne house (Pierre Morlet). This was honestly the best part of the tour! Not only was their champagne divine the hospitality was exceptional! We got to see their cellars and learn even more about the champagne process. Then we got to see the production side of it which was so cool! It will definitely make you appreciate your champagne and all the hard work that goes into it. Lastly, we were able to try anything we wanted, we loved their vintage. Our tour was 11 hours total from pick up at our hotel to drop off. It was worth every penny to have a guide lead us throughout the entire day! The only thing I’d recommend is if you plan to purchase bottles be sure to bring and extra piece of luggage ☺️ I’m ready to go back and spend a few days honestly it was hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Cheers 🥂

Overpriced - The tour guide Agnes was great. Going privately was amazing as well, but for the money the champagne house that were included were not that great. For the price that we paid per person and based on the description. The Moet Champagne house with Don Perigion should have been included, and if it was not there should be more tastings. It is not worth the money, but the tour guide Agnes was great!
