- Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel - Meet your expert guide at the Carrousel Arc at 6:00 pm. Your guide will be holding a sign for easy identification. The striking pyramid designed by American architect Pei serves as the main entrance to the Museum. You have a priority entry pass. Accompanied by your professional guide, you will explore the Museum’s three departments: Sully, Denon, and Richelieu. In the Sully wing, you’ll uncover the oldest section of the Museum, immersing yourself in the Middle Ages. The Denon department features magnificent Greek statues such as Venus de Milo and Victoire de Samothrace, along with Italian paintings. The Italian Gallery, nearly 1 km long, showcases works by renowned Italian masters like Da Vinci, Raphael, Caravaggio, and Veronese. Further along, you’ll find intricate details of Napoleon’s Coronation. David’s monumental painting depicts the Emperor’s Coronation at Notre Dame Cathedral.

Private tour of the Lourve - Ludovic was an excellent tour guide for our trip to the louvre. He knew his way around the massive museum and was able to show us many masterpieces in our 2 1/2 hour tour. He shared with us his extensive knowledge about French history, the history of the louvre building and the many masterpieces that that the museum has. We had many wonderful tours while in Paris but the family agrees that Ludovic gave us the best tour of the trip. He was a delight!

Impressive collection - Our guide Joseph was great. He was very likable and informative. The collection of the Louve is vast and impressive. Skip the line feature was great. Maybe should have done the earliest morning tour for less crowds.

good louvre high lights tour - This was a good tour of the Lourve highlights. Doing it at night was supposed to eliminate crowds. i do not know what days are like but it was still crowded. guide was very knowledgeable and explained famous paintings.

Highly recommended - We've visited the Louvre before and wanted a different experience.
Our guide Olga certainly fulfilled our expectations. Obviously passionate about the Louvre and art in general, she provided us with some gems and insight into some of the artwork and the building - which in itself was very interesting.
We were a party of 5 and given that the Louvre was crowded and noisy, an audio guide system may have elevated our overall experience.

Not worth the cost. Go by yourself - It was rushed and very expensive. Guide was knowledgeable but focused on what he wanted not what we asked.
