A very good experience! - A very good experience! We were in two groups: an adult and a teenager. Cindy and Laurine made two separate visits so that adults would be interested in the visit and children in interactive games. Detailed explanations and never boring! Really great! Thank you for taking us on this tour!

Expensive but worth it! - I think without Phillipe we would still be wandering the halls. He managed to entertain 2 teenagers who really just wanted to shop and the 2 adults by showing us all the key art in the museum. The quiz was entertaining and tough enough for the adults to scratch their heads! Phillipe was very knowledgable and passionate about what he does!

Good tour of the Louvre. - We opted for just a guided tour rather than a scavenger hunt because the Louvre was so crowded during our visit. But we were able to see the highlights and get a good overview. Cindy was a knowledgeable guide.

Amazing time with MLT - We had a wonderful time with Meet the Locals. Sean was our guide for three tours—Versailles, Louvre, and Eiffel Tower/tuk-tuk. I can’t recommend this tour company enough especially for families traveling with teens/kids and grandparents. It was no small feat keeping my girls, age 10 and 13, and my 76-year old mother engaged and having fun, but Sean took such good care of us. We had a blast! Thank you, Sean! Thanks also to Albane for organizing such great tours to us. We feel so lucky to have had tours with you all!

Only way to keep hyperactive teens engaged in Louvre - This was an excellent way to run through Louvre for our family with 3 teenage kids. I didn't think they would get into it but even the 17 years old did and they loved the storytelling that came with it. Educational, fun and factual. I think they will remember most of the pieces now vs. just walking around wondering to some audio on random pieces. We stayed after to do a tour of other places so plenty of time to do what you want in the largest museum in the world. Kudos to Doina for keeping the kids engaged.

Great tour! - Our tour of the Louvre was great! Christelle was able to engage both kids (10 and 14 y/o) with the treasure hunt to find the Mona Lisa. The Louvre is an overwhelming museum for those that are not educated in the arts and this tour gave us the opportunity to appreciate the amazing art that it holds.

Meet the locals make you as a mom and dad enjoy a trip to Europe with the tour guides, the most flexible drivers and the experiences that allow the team to give you great options, and advices to make every day magic! if you don't speak the language or your kids don't like a certain food, no problem! they got you covered! They have made our family vacation memorable, exciting and fun. But the best of everything, is that they give you the time to enjoy family time!

Worth every penny-- the best! - Wow! Laurine and our private "escape room" teen tour of the Louve is and will remain one of our very favorite experiences and memories of our children's first trip to Paris. It was worth every penny. Laurine is the consummate professional guide, knowledgeable and nimble as she led us through the colossal Louve with grace and ease. More importantly, she was so attentive to our interests and attention spans and made what could have been an overwhelming and frankly, boring experience for the kids, an experience that was fascinating, exciting, and great fun-- a truly exquisite experience and memory that we will cherish forever! Thank you Meet The Locals and Laurine. (p.s. My 55-ish y.o.husband said after this tour, that he will always take the teen tour-- kiddos or no kiddos ;))

Louvre Tour with Kids Scavenger Hunt and Chocolate Tour - Meet the Locals group was incredible with our family while in Paris. We had a Louvre Tour with fun experiences/information for our kids and interesting historical details for the adults. We also used MtL for a Chocolate Tour around St. Germains which was as enjoyable as it sounds. Best part of all was the guides who were extremely patient, well informed, and gracious with their time. When one store on the chocolate tour was closed for 15 minutes, she independently ran back at the end of the tour to bring back the mousse for the group. We also mentioned to her that we would be going to a neighboring city in France and she provided a detailed email that night about the city sights before our arrival there. Such a generous, helpful person and it helped set the tone for our experience in Paris.
