Evxcellent - Rocky was great on this interesting and sobering tour of battlefield locations of a battle that killed 60000 allies in one day. Even a chance to buy rare trench art at lunch museum/ restaurant. Would have switched the Australia memorial museum to first stop for better overview of the battle. Bonus stop at magnificent Amiens cathedral. Gobsmacking.

Worry every penny - Pierre is such a great guide. Very knowledgeable, kind, good humor when it's appropriate as well. I was a US American on a tour with quite a few Aussies and after checking with me he restructured the itinerary slightly for them and I thought that was so cool. The Aussies were instrumental in WW1 and their monument is almost a religious experience. The guide was great and the sites are tear jerking, worth every penny.

Somme Battlefields review - This was mind blowing. So powerful and moving to see the battlefields and memorials, and to have the opportunity to pay our respects. Our trip was on Wed 25th Sept 2024 and we had a small group of 8 with tour guide Aaron! We hope Aaron sees this as he was amazing - knowledgeable, friendly, great sense of humour, and the general chat with our group made the trip even better. Great guide, didn’t rush us and was sensitive ti how people were feeling at different times during the day - thanks Aaron and all the best for your future. Absolutely brilliant day, we couldn’t be happier.

Great for Aussies, Canadians, or Kiwis interested in the Somme - This tour was very well done. Our tour guide/driver Nick (Rocky) was very professional and knowledgeable. If you are Australian, Canadian or Kiwi you will definitely get something out of this. Both the Canadian and Australian memorials are fascinating. Well worth the money.

Experience of a lifetime - Aaron's comprehensive knowledge of WW1 made our tour incredibly interesting. I absolutely appreciated Aaron's genuine interest in his clients and their reasons for wanting to join this tour. He was able to take me to the area of the Somme where my grandfather fought and taken to when wounded. This meant the world to me and an experience l will never forget. Thank you Aaron.

Battle of Somme Tour - Victor was a fabulous guide. The itinerary was quite extensive and really covered thoroughly the events surrounding the Battle of the Somme on “Day One” in particular and generally thereafter. Very helpful to tourists generally and those of us reading about these events.

A must do! - We had a fabulous day with a small group of lovely people. It was great to get out of Paris for the day. Sarah our guide was very attentive, gave us good information on all of the places that we visited and kept us on track. There was so much to see and hear about. A very sobering day and something that everyone should do.

Solo Tour - It was good. Very poignant. Had a solo tour with Philippe. Would have been nice if there was hotel pick up and lunch included but it was a lovely day out.

Memorable Day - Sarah was our guide, she was fantastic, really accommodating and kept the day flowing smoothly. The tour was very moving; we appreciated the chance to honour the sacrifices of those young soldiers. Sarah's knowledge was impressive, answering all our questions. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Be prepared it is a very long day especially with Paris Traffic.
