• Chateau d’Auvers - Before entering Auvers-sur-Oise, enjoy a delightful lunch break in the castle’s French-style garden. Please note, the museum visit is not part of the itinerary.
• Auvers-sur-Oise - This quaint village is where Vincent Van Gogh spent the final 70 days of his life. The guide will lead you through the village, showcasing various sites where he created some of his renowned paintings, including the house where he lived and passed away.
• Eglise Notre-Dame d’Auvers - This iconic church is featured in one of Van Gogh’s most famous paintings, which is displayed at the Orsay Museum in Paris.
• Cimetiere Auvers-sur-Oise - This cemetery is the final resting place of Vincent Van Gogh.

Did you know that just a 40-minute train ride from Paris can transport you into the heart of nature? While visiting Paris, consider doing something unique by embarking on a hike through the picturesque countryside.

This experience, designed for small groups of fewer than 10 people, follows in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh, the renowned Dutch painter, from Pontoise to Meriel via Auvers-sur-Oise. Van Gogh created several famous artworks in Auvers-sur-Oise (80 in total). He passed away in 1890 and was laid to rest in the village alongside his brother Theo.

The walk will also lead you through the city of Pontoise, the Vexin countryside, and the charming village of Auvers-sur-Oise, where you will catch the train back to Paris after a guided tour by your tour guide.

Please be advised that this is a 6-mile hike with some hills. Participants should be fit enough to enjoy the walk, meaning they should be able to walk at least 5 km at a good pace without resting. Please note that the tour lasts 5 hours.
