Thanks Thibu! - Thibu was an amazing guide! He was very informative and balanced his humour with some unique fun facts. Would definitely recommend for family with young kids/teens as it is not too difficult bike ride and the guides look after them well. Thanks Thibu!

Très magnifique! Versailles All-Day Bike Tour - Our all-day Versailles bike tour was an unforgettable experience and a fantastic way to explore the vast grounds of Versailles. The tour included a delightful picnic on the grounds and a ticket to the palace. Given the massive size of the grounds, biking was the perfect way to see everything without the exhaustion of walking. The grounds themselves are stunning, and while it might be an unpopular opinion, I found them even more fascinating than the various palaces. Versailles is a must-see for its uniqueness, grandeur, and beauty. Our guide, Nick, truly made the tour exceptional. His extensive knowledge of the history was incredible, and he was also very funny, witty, and charming. Nick kept us moving and on schedule, which was no small feat. His tips for acquiring food for the picnic were helpful, though some steps or seating would have been a nice addition instead of sitting on the ground. A word of advice: wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be doing a lot of walking in addition to biking. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Paris.

Fantastic family day trip from Paris! - Our family of 4 (kids aged 11 & 13) thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour of Versailles! Our guide, Rory, was kind, funny and so knowledgeable. We all learned a lot on the full day adventure, and I was so appreciative of how Rory made it all interesting for our kids as well as the adults on the tour. I also appreciated how Rory accommodated our family travel mishap that resulted in my husband joining the tour late. Rory kindly offered to return to the train station in Versailles to meet my husband when he arrived and got us all back together! Thank you Rory!

Prioritize this day trip - Such a good day. Our tour operator, Dave, said that a good day needs a good attitude. I would add that a good day also needs a good tour guide and Dave was absolutely fantastic. Buying our lunch in the market was quite fun and the outdoor picnic along the Grand Canal was a highlight despite me thinking it was going to be a waste of time. The only piece that seemed a bit different from the online itinerary was the actual palace. We weren’t led through the palace with any sort of tour, we were given our tickets for a timed entry and our return train ticket to Paris and were left to enjoy the palace at our own pace. I ended up staying at the palace for an additional 3.5 hours to see it, the special exhibition about horses and the grounds. Tuesday is a day that unique vendors come to the market and is also a day they run the fountains at the Palace. If you can make Tuesday work it will be worth it.

Tour de Versailles, France - Aaron was a fantastic guide! Lots of great energy and knowledge shared with us. He made it all fun, yet led us safely around on the bikes. I would highly recommend this tour, and especially with Aaron(sp?) Seeing Versailles on a bike was beautiful!

Une excellent journee pour tous!! - We lucked out with a beautiful day in Paris/Versailles!! Early October was perfect! Meeting point was easy to find and the guides were visible immediately. Such nice people! Martin from Argentina originally, but has lived in Paris almost 6 years was our guide. Great group of 16 from all over the US oddly. Martin makes history and a bike ride very enjoyable! Highly recommend this tour and Martin as your guide!

The best way to experience Versailles - I had an incredible time on the Versailles bike tour with Nick as our guide. He was not only informative, giving us fascinating insights into the history of Versailles, but also incredibly funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Biking through the gardens and around the palace grounds was absolutely beautiful—a perfect way to take in the scenery. The tour was well worth the money, as we got to see so much more than we would have on our own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Versailles; it’s a fantastic way to spend the day!

Amazing All Day Versailles Tour - We did the tour with another couple. Each of us loved every minute. This is an easy ride but the bikes allowed us to cover far more of the palace grounds than a walking tour. Our guide Dave provided intelligent and informative and his own insights on French History throughout the tour. This full day tour has many facets including the market, the canal, the picnic lunch, and of course the palace. I highly recommend this full day tour. Plan at least 10 hours start to finish in Paris.

Fun way to see Versilles! - The day started off with meeting our guide, Martin, in Paris, and the group taking the trail to Versailles. We picked out lunch at the local market and grabbed bikes. Then we biked around the Versailles grounds, stopping to eat our picnic, and then touring the Chateau and other buildings. It was fun, and we never could have seen that all on foot. Our guide, Martin, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a fun day!

Great guide, not so great bikes - Really great all-around experience for seeing Versailles, the bike around the hunting grounds was so stunning even though the weather was a bit iffy. Our guide (Nick, I think?) knew so much about the grounds and history it was a great overview, and everything being included was super convenient: train tickets to and from Versailles, the bikes, riding the hunting grounds, walking around the trianons and queens hamlet, and then tickets into the palace itself were all included (self guided inside the palace). A long day but a very full one, lots of information and seeing beautiful places. I gave 4 stars only because the bikes didn't seem well-maintained. Several people (myself included) had issues with their bikes including slipped chains, tire blowouts, and one bike in particular had 3-4 different issues all in a row. Luckily the guide was very prepared for all these instances and fixed each one, but it did hold up the end of the trip considerably. Luckily we'd already done most of the riding by then.
