Fun Despite The Rain - Agathe was a fantastic, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide The tour operators were prepared for the extreme rain we experienced on the trip with ponchos towels and a good attitude. The food recommendations for lunch were spot on. Since we didn’t have good weather, she recommended restaurants and cafes around the market with indoor seating, and even had a quick cheese tasting with the group. The bikes were good but expect they are well used and spending a few minutes at the beginning of the tour ensuring a good fit will make the day better for you. If you do not bike often or are an anxious biker, most of the pathways are along shared pedestrian pathways, however there is a short portion on the way back to the station that is shared with cars. If you need an assist, there are ebikes available too. I would highly recommend this tour.

A must do experience! - Our guide Min was awesome, very personable, knowledgeable and fun! He was the perfect guide for this tour. We had a great group of people we enjoyed the tour with. Favorite parts were biking on the pathways in the fall weather, colors of trees were stunning and walking the grounds at Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon. Picnic was a special delight we enjoyed with our group!!! Thank you Min!!

Claire is the best Tour guide - Our visit to Versailles was absolutely delightful! We had the pleasure of being guided by Claire, who was not only incredibly helpful and friendly, but also provided us with accurate historical context and a wonderful sense of humor. Exploring the stunning gardens on bikes made the experience even more enjoyable. The outdoor market where we selected items for our picnic lunch was a true embodiment of authentic French culture, offering a wide variety of high-quality products. I highly recommend this experience!

Such a great way to experience Versailles - We had Michael as our guide with Reece on hand.
Michael was informative with his knowledge. We found him to be kind , caring and fun.
Our group was fantastic and we had fun. The day went fast and the bicycles easy to ride.
We wouldnt have seen alot of Versaille grounds if we didnt do our bike ride.

Excellent tour experience - Excellent tour guide and experience. Our favorite parts were shopping at the expansive food maket and picnic on the Versailles grounds along with great historical stories from our guide, Clara.

Fantastic Tour! Would highly recommend! - The bike tour was 5++ stars! The customer service was fantastic. I had hurt my back a few days before and was able to reschedule for a different day. The communication was excellent. This company is very organized, they had all of our tickets ready to go at all times. Everything ran like a well oiled machine along with the best personal touches! The communication of where to meet was very detailed. The bike were very good. The tour guides were exceptional, they were very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. This was the best tour we did on our 2 week vacation to London and Paris. Versaille is beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Boutique Bike Tours!

This Tour Was the HIGHLIGHT of our vacation - What a wonderful day! Our guide was helpful and charming, as well as informative. I was nervous I was too out of shape for the bike ride, but it was a nice flat ride. The market was fun to divide and conquer to get a variety of yummy bites and wine. The guide encouraged the group to picnic together on the waterfront, and share our treats. It made the picnic all that more fun and special…plus got us all interacting! Versailles is not to be missed…unbelievably beautiful! Book this tour and have a blast…I know we all did!

Most enjoyable - I love the market and following picnic in the palace gardens. Morgan had incredible knowledge of the palace and surrounds. Morgan told stories that made the day come to life. I would recommend this to everyone, this was the second time I have done the same tour.

Great experience, Knowledgeable guides! - Tour went beyond just a palace tour. We biked, walked, went to an open-air market, and had a fabulous picnic beside the grand canal. Lasted all day, 8-6 including train ride from Paris. Our guide, Alistair, was knowlegeable and kind. He is passionate about the beauty and engineering feats found at Versailles. Bikes included electric option (for additional fee). At the end of the season when we went, some bikes needed a bit more maintenance. one 3-speed was stuck permanently in 2nd gear. Terrain was mostly flat and slopes were gentle. Be ready for about 5 miles of walking and then gentle biking. Learned a lot from the tour both inside the palace and on the amazing grounds. Highly recommended especially for fit adults and teens.
