Perfect day at a palace - My partner and I loved biking around Versailles. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather and sunny skies. Our tour guide, Arnaud, was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The grounds are so delightful! The bike riding takes a moderate amount of skill- there were two small hills and a bit of traffic to contend with, but Arnaud made sure we were all safe, and we took many breaks while he told us about the history. He gave great recommendations for food at the Versailles farmers market, and our picnic was delicious. This is a wonderful tour!

Just book it! - Probably the best tour I went on while I was in Europe! We has such a wonderful time. Visiting the town and getting to shop in the market for our picnic lunch was so fun. Riding the bikes was nice because you can go at your own pace and it's not scary traffic. But the most relaxing part is sitting out on the lawn picnicking. You get to see the summer Palace and the gardens. The day is taken up mostly by these things. You get the opportunity to visit the main Palace but we didn't get a lot of time to explore it. But overall the tour and tour guide were amazing!

Wonderful way to see it all! - Start the day in Versailles at the local farmers market to pick out food for the picnic. Grab your bike, make sure to pick one with a fun name. (Mine was Je t'aime). Bikes had baskets and rain coats which were very handy. Antoine our guide was full of knowledge and made our tour much more interesting. I didn’t realize how extensive this complex is. This is a seriously fun way to explore and also work off some of the calories from all the croissants I have eaten.

A Royal Roll (stroll) outside of Paris - This is a great way to spend a relaxing day outside of Paris. This was totally worth the value because you get to tour a little of Versailles outside the palace, get a mini food tasting and of course end at the palace. The company provides ponchos and hand gloves for rain and/or cold weather so you don’t need to go out of your way to buy/carry extra gear. Our guide Mapi was funny and extremely knowledgeable which made for fun history lessons.

Fun and unique experience - Our guide Jo made the experience very fun and informative. Riding bikes made the tour even more enjoyable. All of the stops are unique and stunning. Be prepared to do a lot of walking/biking at a moderate pace with a 1-speed bike. I wish we had more time at each location but to see it all would take 2+ days.

Loved it but would do different - I did enjoy this tour! Don’t get me wrong. But I would do things differently. The bikes are not used at the actual palace. They are used to get to 2 on-site locations + lunch. By the time we got to the palace & returned the bikes we were so worn out. We explored the palace but didn’t have the energy for the gardens which was the part I was looking forward to most. Our guide was amazinggggggg! I think his name was Ivan. Made the history come to life & we enjoyed learning from him. He was very polite & fun to be around. Shopping in the market + having the picnic was very fun too. Such a cute experience. I felt like the tour coulda skipped the first monument. The summer home & saved our energy for the best parts.
